Caller ID says Blue Cross Med RX. But it is an automated call asking for personal information like birthdate, giving no option to switch to a live person. Never give that info to someone who initiates the call to you, much less an automated call.

I agree!! Never give personal info to anyone that you have not initiated contact!!!

Received voice message from 847-916-6764, claiming to be from a Blue Cross Medicare Advantage licensee.  When I searched for that phone number on the Internet, it appears to be from Franklin Park, IL.  But I could not find a name or business associated with that number.  Blue Cross does not appear to have an office in Franklin Park.  The caller identified my wife by name, and said it was very important for her to call 844-628-3680 (toll free) about a prescription.  When I searched for that toll free phone number on the Internet, it could not be identified.

Received the same call from the same number asking my wife to call (844) 628-3680 about a prescription.  BC/BS doesn't operate this way.  Bogus!

Same as others. Saturday call wanting dob. BC/BS does not operate this way. Scam, it would appear.

SCAM!  After verifying name it wanted info about personal info......only voice recording.  Hung up after that and called my personal insurance carrier to see if this was a scam or legit caller.

Same happened to me.  'to be BC/BS Advantage.  When they asked for birthdate "red flags" went up.  BC/BS doesn't ask that information.  Hung up and then called the number back.  Claimed to be BC/BS ...

Same experience as the others who have reported these calls. They called twice this week and left the same VMX. I did not call back.
