This number kept calling me again and again in behalf of Anthem to claim to share useful information. It sounded like a trap for confidential information. Why Anthem did not try to get such guys after they leaked millions customer SSNs, phones, etc. Do not pick up such call!

847-916-6792 robocall claims to be Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. "Please call us back a 1-844-640-6786." Surely a  SCAM.

Robo call to Anthem customers sharing 'important information' about their new 'Live Health Online' service.  Google search pulled up this 800 notes entry.  I picked up and it was halfway through but I caught the 'call us back' number. Calling in from my number activates a 'Member name' response, no doubt to suggest that it is truly Anthem.  I have read about this service from them independently, so while poorly executed, this is either Anthem or someone who has records from Anthem to be able to pair a customer number and name together. Anthem then tries to encourage you to sign up on the phone in exchange for a $500 Amazon Gift Card.  I said no, and the recording said 'Great, we'll send out a welcome packet' and then also there was an opt out message which required calling a completely different number to opt out of 'calls like this'

I keep getting calls from this number. I haven't been insured with them since I quit my job in November. I never answer.

This is a very good scam because it says on caller ID it's from Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield which is our healthcare insurance. It's also personalized and states my husbands correct name in the automated message:  "This message is for Bob Jones (insert your name here)". We received two calls from this number. The first message wants you to sign up for Live Health Online. The second call says it's a follow-up to sign up for free to visit with a doctor or therapist online.
