Answered phone from caller 850 290 3794 and they hung up.

Received a message from this number at 8:39pm although they somehow bypassed my caller id. Background noises from a call center with people saying Americans for Prosperity asking to speak with different people. Don't think they realized my call was still open. No message from them specifically. Just their background noises.

Call center noise when I answered, no one would respond to my hellos. When I called back automated voice message stating the google subscriber was not available. Left message to put me on the DNC. Hopefully they will abide by my request.

Consumer Reports Magazine....the September Issue has a long article about robocallers and telemarketers....and what can be done about these relentless intruders into our lives. The problem is very extensive as we all know.

keeps calling, doesn't leave a message

I have been getting calls for a month.  I don't answer, they don't leave a message.  My number is on the DNC list and is unlisted as well.  Very annoying.  How to make them stop??

Daily calls around noon. I recognize the number and just pick up and immediately hang up now, but it doesn't seem to stop them.

It is illegal. My number is unpublished and I am receiving these calls.  I looked up the laws and they have to have caller ID activated if it is a solicitation call.

Scammers ignore the Do Not Call List law.  They use auto-dialers to call every number.  They can't be stopped.

They can be blocked.  For a smart phone use an app.  For a cell phone put the pest in your contact list and give him the ring tone "no ring" or "silence".  For a land line a call blocker is an electronic box you can buy at Best Buy or on line.

Identified themselves as Americans For Progress. I didn't let them get past that. I told them if this was in any way political, never call me again, that my opinions are mine and I refuse to share them with anyone, specially on the phone t0o a stranger.

Surveys are not "solicitation" or sales. Surveyors are the least regulated of all major pest call types and have no mandate regarding Caller ID. Nothing in this thread yet suggests the PAC survey is a covert sales lead generator.

Genuine survey calls have no sales purpose and therefore are not covered by the DNCR, a fact you were supposed to learn when you registered. You must ask the surveyor to stop. Polite firms comply.

Your callers do not maintain this site or this web page. Your callers cannot magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments. You cannot expect compliance with your orders until, if possible, you deliver them *directly* to your caller.

Called at 11:55am Sunday Morning. Nothing but Music playing. They hung up after a minute or two.

Answered the call. No one spoke. Could hear a lot of background noise.Caller must not know how to use a phone.

Asked for my husband by first AND last name... said I'm his wife, he's sleeping, they hung up. Called back and a server asked me to state my name but the Google subscriber could not be reached.
