This is a "Social Security" scam.  The robocall says that the social security administration has filed charges against you and asks you to call 850-317-8298. I called the number, but the scammer was confused and thought that I'd already called him earlier to waste his time. So, he didn't even try, but we did speak for a while.  He said "you already know that this is a scam" but would not tell me how this scam works.  One difference in this call is that the scammer sounds Russian and not Indian...can you believe it?

I just received the exact same message.  Televoice stating that the social security administration has filed charges against you.  I am glad I looked this up.  This is getting ridiculous.

Let call go to voicemail as I didn't recognize the number. Message left was short about 18 sec & that I needed to call back. Sounded like a computer generated voice.  This is the 2nd time they have called.

Called and left a message about the Social Security administration is starting proceedings against me!Call them back immediately.

This is a scam! Left a VM staring they were the SSA office and we’re pressing legal action against me. Called the number back (850-317-8293) and the man hung up on me when I asked questions.
