No message was left by the caller.

Called and did not leave a message.

got a call but didnt answer it.  No message was left.  From another phone, i called the number.  After a brief hold, a representative from Navy Federal Credit Union answered the phone.

Recieved call a few times... no message... just hangs up.

Called, the message left said my name and to press 1, if not me to press 2.  From what I've read googling the number it's possibly Navy Federal Credit Union.  I have 2 car loans through them that were both paid last week on time.  Possibly a survey?  Either way I don't want to burn up my cell minutes chatting with them.

I got a missed call from this number. Called it back, the first thing I heard was "HELLO?" I then asked who is this? They said "who is this?" Then I said "you just tried calling me?"
NOW IT GETS REALLY INTERESTING: She says: "My name is JENNA from Navy Federal, can I please have access number, there is something wrong with your bank account?"
YOU WOULD BE AN IDIOT IF A BANK CALLS YOU, OR ANYONE CALLS YOU FROM A BANK AND HAS TO VERIFY IT IS YOU, ASKING FOR YOUR BANK ACCOUNT # OR ANY INFORMATION.

I asked several questions, Like can I talk to your supervisor? do you have another number I can call?  Where are you located?
And WTF? Do you think I am an idiot? PEOPLE LIKE THIS SHOULD BE STOPPED!

All these questions I asked, I was ARGUED WITH, and the person got UPSET and said "you are the one who just called me" So I hung up.
I hope we Americans are not this dumb...

I just called Navy Fed and reported this.  They are forwarding to their security department.  This is definitely a fradulant call.

WARNING!!! Possible phishing scam! NFCU *NEVER* asks for your SSN over the phone---they did ask for my last four and DOB when I called back USING THEIR PUBLISHED NUMBER.
I reported this number to NFCU as a possible phishing attempt and they verified that it was NOT them that placed the call.

got several calls from this number...asked who it was the female caller said she was with Navy Federal Credit Union.....kept asking for my security number and account number..asked to speek to a supervisor she got upset and hung up on me...called NFCU they have no listing of phone number or why anyone would be calling me....this is a scam

This is Navy Credit Union -- it is their collection department in pensacola, FL

3/31/09 I go the same call and told them it was a scame and the person on the other side didn't say anything. They paused and hung up. Do not give any information to these people

I got a call from this number but didn't answer. They didn't leave a mesage. They called me twice in the same day.

This phone number is registered to BellSouth. I have reason to believe that this is actually a AT&T / BellSouth landline, not some ported VOIP line. Someone needs to call BellSouth at 1.866.620.6000. If the number is legitimate, then BellSouth will likely inform the caller. Also, someone ought to contact FDACS at 1-800-HELP-FLA or www.800helpfla.com and the attorney general's office at www.myfloridalegal.com since this operation is based in Florida.

Have recieved 2 calls no messages. From what I read above posts its Navy Federal but I have no accounts with them. Suspicious!

It's there collection department I called navy fed and confirmed it.

This is Navy FCU Collections number. I can't remember if it's automated or someone actually calls. When I fell behind a loan paymet by one day, my account is sent aoutomaitcly to there collections list and the calls start. It's all automatic. So if you have an NCFU account and are behind, the calls will come in until you get your payments caught up. This is what the collections agent told me. My name will not come off the calling list until I am 100% caught up.

IT's not Navy Federal Credit Union.  I called them and they confirmed that their number would NOT come from ANYWHERE in Florida.

I got two calls from this number in the same day. No messages left. I think it's a real collection agency, as I have received other phone calls from navy things looking for someone else, since I got my new number a month ago. I called the number back and informed them I didn't have an account, nor knew of anyone who did. I also added that my number was new. No information was given over the phone, and the removed my number from the calling list, and since then, all calls have stopped.
