Received a call from someone with either an Indian accent (not super thick) or European accent claiming that he is from the IRS and there is a major lawsuit against me for failing to pay taxes for 4 years.  ([***] - all of my taxes are paid on time!)  He also said it's urgent and if this matter isn't sorted, he'll call the sheriff's office to arrest me.

Called again and said it's urgent.  I asked for his name again, I asked for his supervisor's name and he said why do you need that information?  I said if you're asking me for this information, then I'm going to ask you for the same.  He said it's urgent!  Also asked for my credit card number and said he needed money right away.  I told them this sounds like a scam and he said he'll call the sheriff's office and hung up.

Person's name was Alex Davidson.

Same as KK. This is a scam

Update:
A different person called back from a different number about 4 hours later and said he is from the Sheriff's office.  I hung up on him.

My brother just called the original number back about 7 hours later and the phone number is no longer in service.  It's a complete scam!  Losers.

It's Indians most probably from India.
