Has called several times, I don't answer since I don;t recognize the number and says "Unknown".  Leaves no message.  Called back using *67 so my number doesn't appear on their end and only get "Alternative Energies is not available" in a canned voice mail message.  Has to be a scam artist.

I don't answer Unknown Callers, especially from other area codes.  This one left no message.

Called this morning at 9:42am and asked to speak to the homeowner about "the recent increases in the energy bill".

lots of calls from this number. about your energy bill and costs.  sounds like a scam to me.

recent articles at better business bureau, scam busters dot com and the fiscal times dot com indicate that there is a new scam that telemarketers and scammes are using. They are now using the spoofed numbers of regular people.....anyone who has a telephone number, small local businesses, friends or neighbors of the targeted phone call. The articles also state that the scammers have figured out that householders will not pick up the phone if they have checked and determined that the number in the caller ID is spoofed. By using the phone numbers of regular people and regular businesses (there have already been reports of "florists", "childcare centers" and elderly people randomly calling lots of different householders. The scammers are hoping to trick the householder into picking up the phone. Another new scam according to the better business bureau is for the scammer to call the target phone number.....using the householder's own phone number in the caller ID. The idea is to pique the householder's curiousity (or shock them) into picking up the phone to see why their own phone number is displayed the caller ID. The BBB warns against picking up these calls, but if you do.....do not press any buttons if you get a recorded message instructing you to do so. If you missed the call, do not call the number back and
do not give out any financial or personal identifying information to the supposed caller.

I got a call from this number.  Killed the call (quick connect and disconnect).  I have had numbers spoofed just a few digits off in the 10th number from my home phone.  I would think that if Adam Putnam and the other do nothings that are supposedly running the "Do not Call Lists" are half human beings and had the guts to stand up to real law breakers then the problem might be solved, but they all seem to be gutless wonders so robocallers are cleaning the mat with the morally defunct political types.  I think all the "Do not Call Lists" around the country do is provide jobs for political types to give out to their big donors' nere do well sons, daughters, cousins, in-laws, etc.  These positions can't be filled by competent people or we would have better results in the fight to save the sanctity of our privacy in our homes.  THANKS FOR NOTHING YOU LAZY "DO NOT CALL" MANAGERS.  This call carries the ID of Tallahassee FL.  In your eye Putnam.  This is supposed to be where you work and they smear you face in their crime.

Making the rounds in central Florida - something about helping me to save money on my energy bills. Fourth scam call of the day.

I guess they're back. Caller ID said Tallahassee. Came up on call waiting so the got a busy signal. Another number to block!

Phoned twice yesterday I am sick and tired of living in Florida cannot even have a peaceful life in my own home because of these scam calls.
