i received a text message from this number and that i need to please respond to there office immediately.. i am not calling them,.... anyone else get this message

Yes, the same exact message. It's a scam. I text them back to please dot not contact me again and the my number was on the list of DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and that by contacting me further you admit that the purpose of leaving any message is to harass which would be used to file a police report resulting in heavy fines. That might help because they haven't tried to contact me again.

They call daily. Now texting. They are not with the BBB at all same guy will call with a different name. Now some woman.  I called the BBB in New York. They said they were not a member.  I wish someone could stop these people. Guess ill call state attorney general.

The name listed on my caller id from them was Jason M. Stroeh - said they were collection agency and my ss# came up when they typed in Yolanda Davis...called at 7:15am - told them even if I WAS that person - should not be calling before 8am...

This is a collection agency.  I recently got a new home phone number and am receiving mass amounts of collection calls for several different people. These collectors are trained to be ruthless. If they know what strikes a nerve in a person they document that so every person who calls you will use that tactic.

this company is a joke!!! They called my old employer that i worked for 3 years ago asking for me.. So I called them back and a lady named Jordan.  I asked her not to call my past employer anymore and she said she will call whoever she wants. she tried telling me that i owe a debt for an old fifth third bank account that i overdrew, which i have already paid off. I have documents that prove I paid it. I asked her to send me a validation letter or something in the mail to prove I owe this debt, and she said no it won't get there in time before you have a court date. She said i will be charged with check fraud. haha. I have never commit ed a crime in my life. I said if you can provide information in the mail i will make payment arrangements, I just want to make sure it is a legitimate. She replied ... have a good time in jail pay your bills and hung up. After researching this number and Company name - NAM.. I found out they used to call themselves R & L Capital. They use fake names and a bunch of different phone numbers. Don't pay them until you get something in the mail. I have reported them to BBB which they aren't even apart of, and called a lawyer... Record all of their calls and save their messages. What they are doing is illegal!!!

I got a call from these morons today, I was at work but they left a message  about check fraud on my account. Well they are dumb as hell because there is no check fraud. I am not gonna even attempt to call them back.

I receive 1-5 calls daily from this number claiming to have a serious business matter to discuss and that they've taken over my case.  What case?  I don't have outstanding debt. The caller also uses multiple names but is clearly the same caller.

If they are real, and the debt is with someone other than yourself then I smell a class action coming.  This is particularly true if they appear on YOUR credit report and the debt in question was not your own. Save all correspondence and help begin the end of NAM.

Their message seems to say that a case has been filed against me for 'theft of bank services'.

When I receive a certified letter I will respond.
