Got a call from this number immediately hung up and then when I call back they hang up on me

got a call they left a message and said there were documents they tried to deliver to me and gave me a case number but not sure what this is for

Called to tell me they delivered documents and they assumed the address was correct. If not, I was to call with a case number so they could redeliver. I am pretty sure it is Nichols and Grant - as they have spammed my cell phone at least 20 times in the past month with a different 800 number. Be aware that Nichols and Grant is not a law office as they stated. They are a debt collector. Do not let them rattle you and always, always get everything in writing. Called with message stating the documents have been returned and I should call immediately to give them the right address.  If I do not they will assume the address they have is correct...well if they got sent back from the address you have don't ya think it will come back again...they also said that if I don't respond they will send the information to my employer, I have been unemployed for 4 years......and it would be wise to have myself or my attorney call them back.   and the number has a +855 208 1896 so my phone won't block it. They broke the law when they didn't state what company they are calling for and did not say this is an attempt to collect a debt.  So, another complaint to the FTC...

Guy called to say they tried to send me legal documents that were returned to them and I need to call asap or hey will come out to my employer.

Same thing happened to me this morning, couldn't deliver documents due to a wrong address.  Well I haven't moved in over 15 yrs so they must be BS'n me.  Did not state what company they were. Should I be worried?

I got a call from them while I was watching the national news. Some guy named Tony Wilson said that NRG Group wanted to send me some documents at my old address unsuccessfully and they will freeze my bank accounts in 24-48 hours if I don't respond. I called them back an hour later and left an angry message demanding what they wanted from me. I don't know how they got my personal information and that has me worried.

THESE PEOPLE ARE WHAT YOU CALL JUNK DEBT COLLECTORS. THEY ASSUME  OLD DEBT SOMETIMES ILLEGALLY OR BOUGHT FROM OTHERS FOR PENNIES.

YES.. THEY DO HAVE SOME PERSONAL INFORMATION EVEN FAMILY MEMBERS BECAUSE YOU HAVE FILLED OUT SOMETHING ONLINE OR A PAYDAY LOAN,OLD CREDIT CARD ETC..

THEY ALSO WILL DO SKIP TRACE AND FIND CLOSE NEIGHBORS AND OTHER POSSIBLE RELATIVES. IF YOU ARE NOT AWARE THIS.

They change their names constantly.  PLEASE DO NOT RETURN CALLS TO THESE PEOPLE. DO NOT LET THEM SCARE YOU INTO GIVING THEM ANY THING. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!!!! THEY WILL STOP AFTER A WHILE WILL START AGAIN UNDER ANOTHER NAME. VERY BOTHERSOME

keep getting calls for a Mark person.. Mark does not own the number they are calling. Called them back to clear things up, and they hung up on me.  How do you get them to stop calling your number.. especially when the person they are calling for .. is not even you

Same as above. Attempted to deliver documents... blah, blah, blah. Does anyone know what companies they collect for?

They called me today and told me that they were serving papers on me for fraud?? Said they were from Energy Capital and if I didn't pay them 585.00 that I would be in court in a week and would owe them 3000.00...When I call back I get a voicemail for a woman named Anna Smith.  The caller's name was Derrick Bottaro...why wouldn't it go to him.  OH and they said that they were a law firm.  I googled the name they gave me of Energy Capital and there is no law firm by that name.

Received Calll and message left stating mail had been returned and if I didn't call back assume address correct and either me or my attorney needed to call and give reference number given. And also said something about my employer...I blocked number.

Called and left a message on my husband's cell. Said the message was for Lindsay someone. Documents were returned, if they didn't hear back they would assume the address was correct, contact employer,blah,blah,blah.

Ot an automated call this morning wanting to confirm my employer. That was immediately suspicious since I am disabled and have not worked in 10 years. So I called back and got a really rude nasty guy who claimed he was a lawyer and refused to tell me his name, the company name and hung up on me. How professional. Sounds like a junk debt collector to me. That's how they operate! Gonna report em to the FTC.

Called and told me that a court summons was undeliverable and I needed to call them and make a payment to "make it go away." A close friend of mine is the file clerk for our county sherriff sho delivers all summons and she said there was no such thing and that this company was a 3rd party debt collector who was using scare tactics. They also told me in 72 hours they would freeze all bank accounts and have me put in jail for fraud and theft. I think it's BS and notified my attorney. Still waiting to see if thyese [***] try and pursue this.

They call me all time I laughed at Tony on the phone and he got really mad and told me I was going to jail. I have not worked in 12yrs so let them send anything  to my employer that they think I work for. Someone took out a payday loan in my name about 2yrs ago. So just laugh at them on the phone it really makes them mad.

What happened? If you don't mind me asking? Was this resolved?
