They called me, didn't say who they were or what they wanted.

It's a scam!!!

Calls saying there's a formal complaint against, then a computer voice that says your name. They then want you to call back or they will file paperwork with your local court system.

GOT A CALL FROM A VOICE MAIL SAYING MY NAME AND CALL BACK TO THIS NUMBER 855-208-2488 OR THEY WILL BE FILING PAPER WORK AGAINST ME TO GO TO COURT .....I'LL Be waiting for a court date scammers...

Same scenario here - 2nd voice mail on our landline in 2 days- looking for a "pre recorded" name (not ours!) about a complaint lodged & threatenened next steps thru our county courts... Never identifies himself. Crummy stunt & not sure what they think they're gonna get. SCAM!!!

same senario as above. 2nd voice mail looking for a pre recorded name about a complaint lodged, threatened to take steps through courts. sounds like a recording, pure SCAM.

got a call asking if i knew the whereabouts of a recorded name. said there was a complaint against them and if i had any information to return call, if not they would take action through courts.

Left message on a child's cell phone stating that if no call is received back, going to take it to the courts.  Who would leave that on a child's cell phone.

These people have called my for two years now looking for someone else.  I have filed a complaint with my State Attorney office which also helped me record all phone calls and keep record of how many times they call.  This man that called, called me a liar and a thief because I knew who the person he is trying to reach and won't give him any information and then threaten to take my home and have me served.  Without getting upset, I politely informed him that I was currently working with my State Attorney office to file a suit against them, I am obligated to know the company name and address (which he refused to give) and what the debt was about (in which he refused to give again) how can you serve someone you don't know and I never gave you my name.  He quickly hung up.  Don't allow these people to bully you.  Know your rights!

Who would leave that? Scammers who neither know nor care that it's a child's phone. If you can, block and ignore their calls.

the crazy thing is they reached people within my circle!! How are they getting these phone numbers, that is the scary part.... outrageous

They keep calling my brother who lives in another state saying they want to know of my whereabouts because they have a complaint against me. I call them back and every thing is recorded and an error occurred . Getting sick of this

Have received 3 calls left on my voicemail, with the following message:

"Hello, I’m calling in regards to a formal complaint that has been filed against one [S.K.].  If you have any information that can lead to the whereabouts of this individual, please contact us immediately at 855-208-xxxx. Again, 855-208-xxxx or press any key on your dial pad to be connected immediately. Our next step will be filing the necessary paperwork with the local county court.  Thank you for your cooperation."

The person's name indicated by the brackets in the above message was a pre-recorded, digitally-generated name inserted into the call message.

The 'xxxx' for the phone number changed in each voicemail message, as follows:

- Tuesday, July 26 at 12:37 pm ET gave the contact phone number as 855-208-2459.
- Wednesday, July 27at 3:00 pm ET gave the contact number as 855-208-2488.
- Friday, July 29 at 3:28 pm ET gave the contact phone number as 855-208-2668.

The caller never identified himself, his organization, or the local county in the voicemail.

I've never heard of the individual identified in the message; I did not return the call.
