Received a PRE-RECORDED voice message on my work number stating "This is Kathy Johnson with a final notice of delivery of these documents" - no mention of company name or what type of documents - and to "return the call at 855-208-2498."

Got this call 2x's today.  They needed my return call, to verify delivery of documents. They  must have collected personal- linked data, because they addressed me as one of my relatives.......Let Me Guess ;

Getting the same calls the last couple days - they aren't even asking for me - they are asking for my EX husband's ex wife!!  Idiots scammers.

Sounds like a pre-recorded scammer phishing for suckers. "Kathy Johnson" phones multiple times each week.

They call me and my family multiple times a week to tell me they need to deliver documents . Or usually a Kathy Johnson calls and then a computer says my name. Such scammers. They always say they are the process server and want to make arrangements to have me served. [***] scammers and they are awful at it. Call from various 855 numbers [***] them

hahahaha....they think this scam still works after 10 years of the entire world knowing it is just a SCAM?  If I had the time, what fun to be had with pranking and harassing these idiots.

I just received the same call...could be real or a scam. If real im sure they would aend me a letter with or about the so called " documents "...im not nor will i return calls to pre recorded mesaage

This is the ever popular right now "process server" extortion scam.

They mention that they have received a Fax document, to create the sense of urgency and tell you that they are a “process server”. This is simply ruse to get you to call another number (with a made up case number) where they will ask for money to “make it go away” (this is actually the same place, they work in teams, one pretending to be the server, and the other usually pretends to be a lawyer).  They threaten to serve you at home or at work.  They tell you that if they serve you at work they need a supervisor, security, or HR person there as a witness, hoping that will cause you to panic over the alleged embarrassment of being served at work.  They also tell you that you will need two forms of ID.  None of which is true.  Process servers do not ever call ahead so that you can dodge them.  Process servers get paid to serve papers, nothing else.  They certainly are not going to pass up a paycheck by telling you that you can avoid being served, they are not going to give you an extra day or even a few hours to get a “stop order”.  Court documents are time sensitive and have to be served within a certain amount of time.  Remember that you can always call the local courthouse to see if there is actually a lawsuit that has been filed against you.

I just received the same call as Salty! No mention of any company. Scam written all over it. Who ask you to call them back to verify where to send documents? If they are real business you will have that information..

Received a prerecorded message today from Kathy Johnson for my EX HUSBAND. I called the number and asked them why they were calling me asking for him? The lady stated that my ex listed me as a relative. I told her we had been divorced for 14 years and hadn't spoken or seen eachother in 13 years so she better remove my number immediately.

Recently received a pre- record message from Kathy Johnson saying my father deflated on his loan For $4,000 and I told her my father passed away in 2011 and this loan was taken out in 2012 . She then told me she would remove me from the calling list and report it to the lawyers . Called our local sheriff and he said it was a scam . What also bothered me was that she also had 3 other family members names and we all got together and called back at the number that was left tel:1-855-208-2498 they then became very hostile to my sister in law when she requested information on the loan .  Needless to say we listed to our gut feeling and told them off and hopefully we won’t hear more from them .They also did not give the name for there business to us or any other information on the loan only to say it was done on line and could not even provide where the money was sent !

Caller left message that they had documents for my deceased mother-in-law!

I have received this call many times for someone who does not work here. I have called them several times and told them to remove the number. I got another call this morning. Called back and spoke to some guy named Philip. Told him they are calling a business and that person is not here, as well as I have told you to remove the number multiple times. He stated well we are a business as well and we need to talk to this person. I said you are wasting my time and my companies time when calling from the time I said that person was not here. He was very rude. Said it was some sort of lawyers office. SCAM!!!!! so tired of these people who are not legit.. No Worries I will play your game I am well versed on your scams.

Calling to say they have documents to deliver. Told them I am reporting to FTC and attorney general and the calls stopped. SCAM
