Never told me what company they are from, but was going to go on with legal action and send my employer legal documents.They told me the case number and if I do not respond, moving forward documents will go to my county? Don't know for what, never stated what company it is and just said I've been notified and to call them back with this exact number but the number was unknown on my caller ID.

They sound like criminal scammers.  First they are going to send documents to your employer, then to the county.  What?  If they truly had legal documents, such as serving you for a lawsuit, they would serve YOU.  Boy do they sound stupid.  In addition, from your description it sounds like this was all left in a recording which is against the law according to the FDCPA (assuming they think you owe a debt).

I thought it was a recording, but they did use my full name. She was definitely reading off of a scripted paper.
