Called said I owed for an unpaid check and it was a felony and would serve papers

its a scam report them. do not give information

the said I owe them money for  a payday loan. paid them and now disputing the charges.

They called claiming I took a payday loan out back in 2012. They then threatened me with going to jail for check fraud if I do not pay within 6 hours. I was completely freaked out until both my husband and parents told me it was a scam.

IT'S A SCAM!  They leave a message about needing an address to deliver some documents to and when you call back, they try to get you to give personal information and say you've got some debt that needs paid right away or they're going to serve papers and have you arrested.  They like to confuse and talk over people, get them upset, and get them to either give account information so they can clean out bank accounts or scare you into paying for something you never were involved with!

I can't freaking believe that I feel for this - I also got a call about delivering documents for my daughter.  I paid them over $800 for payday loan back in 2012 my daughter supposedly took out.  I cancelled card after my daughter found this on scam on web and now have to dispute it.  CRAP!  The reason I believed the woman, is because my daughter has pulled stuff like this before (so it was very beliveable) as I started giving my card number (I even stopped) and asked her that I felt this could be a scam - she then proceeded to give me more detailed information on this.  Another thing that should have clued me in is she gave me the personal info on what my daughter owed exactly, telling me she shouldn't but she had kids too - I have talked to legit creditors before and they would NOT give me that information (even after asking for it).  Like I said CRAP!

Give your state attorney general a call too.

Getting calls from this number and when I tried calling it, said mailbox is full and no business name left. POS is now calling my parents
