Don't bother returning the call.  "County advocate" - ILLEGAL to claim to be a government employee!!  "court tomorrow" - you would have had a  summons delivered - not a cold call - and much  more notice.  Phone calls are notification of nothing ( but in this case - a scam.)

Just got the same call and I agree this is pure BS. Problem #1 called claiming to be a county employee from a Blocked/"unknown" number problem #2 no official summons was given and lastly (on this extra short list OFC) problem #3 I can't find a legit business that owns this number

They are calling from Cash NetUsa. They almost got me! She left a voicemail, I was driving and couldn't answer. I did return the call but the lady who answered didn't know her [***] from a hole in the ground. Eventually I hung up. Glad I searched this number

On Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at 1025 hours, I received a voice message from a McKenzie Allen that I was scheduled for a court appearance at the Sacramento District Court Advocates Program on Thursday, August 17, 2017, at 0900 hours.  I am filing a claim with the DA Office, due to this collection agency representing themselves as a government entity.  In addition, I will be filing a civil suit on the company that hired this collection agency.  They can be charged criminally and sued at civil court.  What they didn't realize is that I am currently a Police Officer and this is what they can be charged for "33 U.S. Code § 931 - Penalty for misrepresentation."

Same. Couldn't even pronounce the county I'm in. If it was legit, don't you think an employee would know how to say the county she worked for..

I just received a call and love in tazewell county in Illinois. Same message exactly.

I received a message stating that someone I knew were filing charges against me, which struck me funny because I don't hardly leave my house, nor have I any issues with anyone, long story short I was told that I needed to return the call and give a case I'd number when I did, so I returned the call only to get a answering machine. I left a message and the id number. I then received a call back from a Jennifer Conrad stating to call her back, that we'd get to the bottom of this matter and the good news is that the person in question has not filled anything as of yet. I've never heard of someone calling to tell you someone is or might be filing something against you, this is complete B/S BEWARE OF THIS NUMBER  +1 855-208-6664, BLOCK IT AND REPORT IT IMMEDIATELY......
