    sick of liars
Just got two messages from this number looking for someone not related to us.  There was no detail regarding who was calling, only a vague statement about a criminal case number and a legal department.

This company has been calling me since Wednesday 6/5 from a blocked # the lady named Michile Smith said that I have two fromal compliants being filed against me and that if I call back we can resolve this legal issue before this is taken to my county. I called her back 5 pm my time no answer, the next day she called me and said I can see you tried calling me back Kacey please call me back so we can resolve this. I called her back again last night and she said that I called her at 6:45 P.M when she was not in office, which is 5:45 P.M my time. She said i had to call her back today before 2 of my compliants would be filed against me. When I call the number the automated systems says "you have reached Creditors if you know your partys extension dial it now, if not please remain on the line to be connected to one of our operators." Has anyone else rec'd a call like this from this #???????

Yes, I just received a call from a Valerie Thompson the other day telling me the same exact thing on a loan she said I owed.  She gave me another number to call 855-207-9788 and when I called it back it was a recorded message stating B241 test successful.  She just called me at work today and told me that she gave me the wrong number and then gave me the 855-208-9788 number.  I told her that I need veritification of this debt such as company name, how much I owed and when the debt occurred.  She then put me on hold to get her manager.  Some woman came on the line stating she was Ms Smith the GM and I told her the same exact things.  She informed me that she did not have to provide me with any of that information because the company that gave me the loan did not give me one thing about them all I did was sign on the dotted line to get this loan.  I said "really" did you just say that....I then stated if you can't give me the informaition I requested, I will not pay you a dime.  She then raised her voice stating she would contact my employer and tell them she was going to file a suit against me and that I WILL most definitely get restatution on this money.  DON'T FALL FOR THIS...THEY ARE RUTHLESS SCAMMERS TRYING TO GET YOUR MONEY.  I don't know how these people sleep at nigth!!

good for you !! I have been tracking calls from multiple numbers since the first week of april.. they use new numbers all the time asking for different people that you have been associated with --making the same threats and will NOT give any contact info for them other than the number you try to call.. we have had them contact atleast five different people ..document all calls -time date number and as much info as you can get it needs to be turned over to a bank/attorney general / and or the FTC  ....... you are correct they are ruthless scammers... !!!!! some of these numbers are tied back to the magic jack phone connection... tell everyone you know --tell them to not give them any information what so ever .. they will keep trying I don't know how long .. it has hit people we know over the last 6 months trying to scam everyone.. BE VERY CAREFUL OF THEM ... and document as much as possible ... thanks..

My phone calls started from this place on May 9th, 2013.   A Matthew Anderson called from 855-209-3891.  He called to threaten me with "theft by deception"  for closing my bank account.  You see, I had originally taken out a payday loan with St. Armand's Group last fall for $300.  Since then, I paid back more than 3 times what I owed them.  They kept taking $90 out of my account every 2 weeks, so i closed it.  I called St. Armand's a week later & they said they "sold" my account. Basically, washed their hands of it.  My account was not sold to this company called "Creditor's."  yet they're the ones who keep calling me.  I have also gotten calls from a Ms. Walker & Ms.LaPrie at this same place.  Each time they call, they threaten court & call from a blocked number.  And, each time they call they leave a different 855 number.  It's been 855-208-9788, 855-208-3845, 855-209-3891.  After more research, I believe this is a scam.  I cannot find anything on this "Creditors" online.  They will not mail me anything with their address on it and they will not provide me their address.  Any reputable company with a legitimate debt will mail you something or provide an address. (they said they mailed something 2 months ago, but funny, this didn't start 2 months ago)   They also said they don't take payment by money order or traveler's check.   What reputable company doesn't accept payment that way?!   I was scared by them at first, because I'm a good person & don't want to end up in court.  But, after talking with them and doing more research, I believe this is a BIG time SCAM.   I have since reported this to the Illinois Attorney General's Office and the FTC.  If these people have called you, please report them to your state's Attorney General's office and the FTC.  These people need to be stopped.  It is illegal to threaten people over the phone over a debt...especially if it is not owed.

HOW IS THIS A SCAM WHEN YOU PEOPLE GO ONLINE BEGGING THESE PEOPLE FOR MONEY THEN WHEN ITS TIME TO PAY IT BACK YOU NEED "VERIFICATION" WHY DO YOU NEED VERIFICATION OF A DEBT THAT YOU CLEARLY OWE,, AND IF YOU WHERE A GOOD PERSON AS U CLAIM TO BE YOU WOULD HAVE PAID YOUR LOAN BACK OR ATLEAST WORK WITH THE COMPANY SO THAT THEY COULD PROVIVED YOU WITH THE INFON THAT YOU REQUESTED.. WHY SHOULD THEY WORK WITH YOU IF YOUR NOT WORKING WITH THEM??/...... THESE PEOPLE DONT JUS GET YOUR INFO OUT OF A HAT.. ITS IS PROVIDED BY THE COMPANYS THAT YOU SCAM OUT OF MONEY... DO SOMETHING OTHER THEN TAKE PAYDAY LOANS OUT AND NOT PAY THEM BACK.... BECAUSE IF YOU WOULD HAVE PAID THEM BACK YOUR ACCOUNT WOULD NOT BE IN COLLECTIONS.. DUMMY

Without debt verification as federal law stipulates, then crooks like you could invent debt that nobody owes or has paid off and try to collect it from innocent victims, and maybe even falsely threaten then (that's called extortion).

Wait, isn't that exactly what you do? No wonder you're on a site like this that must be cutting into your illicit profits!

My debt was paid off and I got calls from these people. THAT'S why it's a scam..dummy. If the debt is already paid off, what are they collecting on?!  That's fraudulent.
