I got a call too, but I got a message saying something about a "formal complaint" being filed against me. Strange, I don't remember doing anything complaint-worthy. It was a human voice for most of the recording, but my name was said by a computerized voice. My name is Chad as well, maybe they are going down a list in alphabetical order by first name.

Left a message on our answering regarding our daughter-in-law and that a "formal complaint" was filed against her. It is possible since her credit isn't the best. However, I'm not passing the information on to her as most collection agencies or creditors would contact her in writing. As stated above, most of it was automated with a fill in the blank for her name.

I also received a call with vague threats of filing in my county. It was an automated call as the voicemail message begins halfway through very common with robot calls. Just more underhanded lowlife collection practices.

The the lady on the phone, when I returned their call, got a Lil Salty (Upset) because I asked her to repeat what company she was calling from. I said, "Look Lady", you called my phone asking me for assistance to locate my daughter - I didn't have to return your phone call.

Same type of computerized voice message, and when I called back and refused to "confirm" my social security with that lady, she hung up on me.

Call was a human voice with a computerized voice stating a name. As stated above!!

It's a 3rd party debt collector for payday loans. Terribly rude when you ask them to verify the debt. Also calling on debts that are 5 plus years old. They wouldn't give me a company name, but it seems really, really shady.

WE received the same type of call recoded human voice said my daughters name they said they were CSS and collecting on behalf of a complaint and court papers are being drawn up. my daughter has cancer  I talked to a few of these agents and the rudest one was I don't care  if I had two legs cut off half a brian   I would still have to go to court we called the bank wells fargo cause she had her identity stolen like 3 years ago  so my daughter thought it was that. these people sound african american every one of them  they also said the amount of $670  when my daughter called the bank she talked to the fraud department and loss prevention  and was told to get a  seize and assist order of protection  and she contacted legal aid lawyers. on my phone they called me the same time they called my daughter I have a recorder on my phone so it records all calls in and out these recording will be turned over to the police  and the legal aide.

I got the same robotic call for a name I don't even recognize.

I received a call from this number I did not answer I don't answer when there is no name shown on my caller id.  This is the first call I received from this number.  I track all calls on numbers I do not recognize so I don't know what they wanted no message left on my answer maching.

Reported them to the local police and state Attorney General.  Real [***].

Received call from this number saying they were filing court papers in my county court  did not tell me what for or give company name.

I have been getting these calls even my sister has gotten them.  She and I both have been advised by our attorney not to even engage conversation with the caller because who is to say who they are.  could be looking to do harm to who ever they say they are looking for.  Who knows it is crazy out there.  I also have not done anything to warrant a "formal complaint".

You are so right my attorney said it is just at the line of being illegal to threaten anybody over the phone.  Stupid individuals don't realize I now have them recorded making threats to give up information about someone's whereabouts.  My attorney said do not engage them in anything.

You did the right thing.  My attorney said not to even call them back or engage in any conversation with these low life people.

You did the right thing by getting your attorney involved I was told by my attorney not to engage them and not to give them any information at all about anybody's where about.  I have also gotten different people calling me from different backgrounds.  It will be a lady this week, a man next week and so on.

I just keep the messages who knows we all might be apart of a lawsuit filling charges against these people because you can not call anyone and threaten to do harm for anything.  My attorney advised me not to even engage conversation with these people.  Who is to say what they are really up to.

I have been getting these calls for over 4 years now and it is from stupid individuals who will come right up the line of crossing over the line with their scare tactics.  My attorney said not to even engage conversation with these callers.  I am looking for a class action lawsuit for this collection agency or who ever these callers represent.

I have been receiving these calls for the last six months, and I tell them if I owe anything send it in the mail since they had all the information and they got rude and threatening.  I will not answer these anymore now. Glad I looked it up now I know not to engage at all anymore.
