Called me multiple times talking about returning Comcast equipment in a very recognizable robotic voice (there are obvious cuts and unnatural continues between words). These calls seem to only start coming after I gave my phone number to verizon and cablevision for internet orders....

A reminder from Comcast to return some equipment after we canceled our service.

Same weird message about equipment return.  Thing is I am a current customer.  No cancelled accounts.  No need to return equipment.  In fact they did the installation on my move because it was a new building and needed extra attention to hook up and couldn’t be self installed.  Ridiculous.

Called our business on one of the rollover lines. CID said TOLL FREE and nobody was on the line. We do not and have never had a Comcast account of any kind.

Hello! I actually work for this company, and it is indeed Complete Recovery Corp. The address has now changed, but we are still based in Utah. We are not a debt collection company, we only make sure that equipment is returned in a timely fashion so that charges don't come up on your bill. This company actually has no access to any of your billing information, and doesn't want any money. Blocking the number is fine, but if you answer and simply ask to be put on the "do not call" list, we are required to remove your number completely.

If you have not had a Comcast account, it is probably a wrong number and if you say this, and say that you don't know anything about the equipment from the address we give, that removes your number as well.

One, why did you look up your work phone number since you obviously know who it belongs to? Two, you say "the address has now changed" but fail to give that new address. Why is that? Three, why do you call but neglect to leave a message most of the time?

Hello. I've already explained to the first individual that contacted me that my Comcast account is not "inactive," and that I'm still using the equipment. This team member advised me to call Comcast Customer Care to get my account removed from their list. I did so, and the Comcast rep confirmed that my account was still active, so she has no idea how or why I got on the call list for Complete Recovery.  Second time I got a call, I explained this again. Now I continue to get the calls every day or two (after 2 weeks of thinking I'd resolved the confusion) but now no one responds when I answer...so I can't even ask your company to remove me from the list.

it took some doing but I found several addresses for these crooks. I would suggest sending them a certified letter explaining everything and telling them to never call you again.

They claim they are in Salt Lake City on their LinkedIn page.

On their LinkedIn page they claim they are Complete Recovery Corp, but the State of Utah disagrees as that charter is expired. They are now going by the name CRC, LLC.

Anyone have a number 317-981-2675?
Sometimes it's a different number but still starts at 317. Each caller asking me if I am this person. Which I am not which I told them repeatedly that I am not this person. Block each number is no use because the keep using a different number.  Then asking me the same question again last call I lost my temper told them I am not this person you are looking for so please lose my number and stop calling me!

Call is fake.  It says it is from Comcast.  It refers to a different account number each time....idiots.  The account number the first time was CRC3470245.  Once I heard the second (different) account number I knew it was fraud.

"We're calling to assist you in the return of the unused Comcast equipment Comcast has partnered with complete recovery to make the return easy for free return options or questions contact us at 855-222-8463 and reference account  CRC3470245. Thank you."

Calling daily, robocalling is allowed because your elected officials receive big money to let it happen, the only way to make it stop is get rid of lobbying and have term limits at all levels of government

I received the exact same message from the same telephone number twice requesting I return Comcast equipment. I don't have an account with Comcast. I was going to call them back until I saw these comments. I blocked the number as well. Thanks

This is a prerecorded Comcast calling, to remind me to return my equipment.

Robocall from scammer claiming to be from Comcast.  Wants me to return equipment.
I've never had Comcast.
Don't answer, let it leave voicemail.   Eventually the calls stop.  Though it will change to a different number.   Just don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize, eventually they will stop.

Fake Comcast.  I still have Comcast so they are fishing.

Every two weeks I get a call from (209) 926-3154 saying "Hello this is a reminder to return the unused Comcast Xfinity equipment...call (855) 222-8463. I finally call the number and the guy says the reference number left in the message doesn't match my name and wouldn't tell me what the equipment referring to. He tells me to call 1 (800) xfinity to ask customer service to figure out why. Comcast has no connection to either of the phone numbers listed and has assured me they are investigating the information I provided. Based on my interaction, I see no purpose for deceiving me into believing I have equipment to return. They didn't ask for private information. Are they trying to get people to call Comcast to keep customer service reps on the phone for hours looking up fake information?
