I can not find any reference to their site being hacked. There is no mention on their site nor a Google search. After a member of my family donated three years ago they *forget* my removal requests and call me each year at this time.

These forums are for call recipients to share their experience and optionally offer advice. To end your nuisance call problem, you must notify their source. The magic phrase you want for salesmen and charity hucksters is ''Place my number *on* your Do Not Call list''.
It is unwise to publish a phone number you meant to protect in an open forum where any data harvester and scammer can find it. I've reported your comment so that Admin can redact it. - LindaI get calls from this number on a regular basis and also from other telephone numbers from Rod Parsley.
I asked to be placed on the do not call list and they continue to call. Very annoying.- Caller: World Harvest
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- Gail| 1 replyI have never contacted this ministry until now. I have called the church directly since the 855-223-1038 does not receive calls. Go figure, I am contacted almost daily. This is very annoying and I would hope that this ministry would make better use of their funds other than harassing people who have no interest in this ministry.
I am currently waiting for a call from someone who may be able to remedy this situation. If I get a resolution, I will post for others.- Caller: World Harvest - Rod Parsley
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- mEugene replies to A. ReidThey are quite persistent. Finally today someone said something when I picked up, wanting to speak to a Mrs. Johnson. Not my name so I told her not to call anymore.
Next call: my county circuit clerk to file harassing communications charges against then. Then civil court for damages from harassment. - Jason| 2 repliesSpam call trying to obtain collections for the mega church 'Breakthrough Ministries,' for scam artist Rod Parsley. Call received at 19:16 Sunday afternoon, lol... Great way to observe the sabbath you hypocrite. I'm not religious; in fact I'm an atheist. I have no idea why I've started receiving these calls.
- Caller: Breakthrough Ministries
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Dweight replies to Rick Olson| 6 repliesI get the same harassing calls from the same number and I have NEVER contacted them.
They also do not honor Do Not Call requests. - Rose replies to A. ReidI just received a call from 1-855-223-1038. Someone was on the other end. They asked to speak to a Mrs. Bailey. I said you have the wrong number. The woman apologized. Maybe this is another one of their scams. Previously, for weeks, I received many calls from them but never picked up the phone.
- Rose replies to GailProbably you will receive a call from them. Do not pick up (which I am sure you already know). I accidentally picked up the call (I was having legitimate dealings with a company that has an 855 number. They ask to speak to someone else. I told them they have the wrong number, and the lady apologized for that. I think this is another one of their scams. I am also on the Do Not call List, but a lot of good that does.
- joannieI picked up the call to answer, no reply.

- ConsecratedOne replies to JasonSabbath is Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
- TiredOfSCammers replies to Dweight| 5 repliesRod Parsley (Breakthrough Ministries) would never "harass" anyone. Either someone at your number, at some point, contacted them or it's the scam they are now going through. As the other post on this page stated, Breakthrough Ministries systems were hacked, the hackers got their records including phone numbers of legitimate donors, and even donors to this ministry have been scammed. Scammers are also using their name as a means to cheat people out of money.
I can personally assure you Breakthrough Ministries are one of the most honest and forthcoming organizations that exist today. They, just as other such legitimate ministries, feed and bring water (wells) to starving people all over the world -- who aren't as fortunate as we in the U.S. are -- and give people who live in desperate situations hope throughout the entire world. They are legitimate!
While unwanted calls are irritating, don't report or slander Breakthrough Ministries because I can assure you they would never harass anyone. I have personally donated to them in the past, didn't send a donation for almost a year or more after that, and NEVER ONCE received a call from them asking for another donation, or anything for that matter.
Lots of legitimate ministries, like so many other organizations these days, are being targeted for, not only hacks in order to scam people out of something, but are also targeted simply for being "christian" organizations. I guess those who hate christian organizations either have something in their lives they're ashamed of, or they cannot stand the fact that maybe someone or some organization in this world are doing more to help humanity then they themselves are. Personal guilt is a seriously strong emotion that causes a host of unattractive actions and hateful speech from people who feel that guilt... of course, because they only consider themselves most of the time.
It's amazing to me... people will give thousands of dollars to some scheming politician who yaps promises to "help them", but let someone who legitimately helps those in need ask for money and those same people looking for a scamming politician to do something for them (politicians who are only looking for votes to boost his/her ego(s) or to make their pockets larger) become indignant at the thought of a genuine, humanity-helping org. asking them for funds to help people who are TRULY in need.
Give Breakthrough Ministries and Rod Parsley a break on this one. Again, I know from quite a few years of personal experience they would not harass anyone, for any reason... let alone bugging folks for money. They do not need to bug people for money... if an organizations is truly legitimate them God takes care of his own.
Christians do not need to cling to human beings the way secular people cling to lying politicians (politicians only wanting to get elected for power over others -- mainly democrat party control freaks) for their well-being in life. They have the creator and owner of the entire universe to depend on if need be. A creator who actually comes through and does what he says he will do... unlike humans who lie, cheat, steal, swindle, scam and slander other humans for their own personal, selfish advantage. - TiredOfScammers replies to L. Johnson| 4 repliesIf it were Rod parsley or Breakthrough Ministries they would definitely leave a message. It's thieves and scammers using their name, unfortunately.
