Some guy purporting a claim against me. Traced the number to India. I owe no one anything.   This is a scam.

Got this Anonymous caller who left this number and stated there was a Claim against me. I owe nobody, I called them and the guy stated the last 4 digits of my social and asked if that scared me. I told him no.. and stop digging in my trash for information. Whoever these people are that give away our information is the ones to blame. These data center callers need to stop.. They stopped targeting my elderly mother and now they are trying to target me... What a big mistake that is. If you know you don't owe anyone.. please don't fall for these scams, it's stupid people that fall for it that keeps them going. Funny how you can trace the call to India, the guy I talked to was certainly American. They are just calling from the internet and routing the calls around so they cannot be traced. These people are criminals who are trying their best to extort money from honest people. PLEASE DON"T FALL FOR IT!!

This man called identified himself as Ted Browning, asking for 1 of my relatives. He had the birthdate but nothing else. I told him I dont have  contact with said relative and they said they have a claim on him and doc's he needs to sign, they gave me this # 855-223-8037.

This number called my brother's phone yesterday, too, and I noticed the collector/legal services person viewed my profile on LinkedIn. When I called the number back (only after blocking mine), there was just a blanket voicemail for a Jack Prescott. I have no idea who this is or what they want, but I've never heard of him or received mail from him or anyone saying they'll sue me, so I'm going to ignore it for now. The caller said on the voicemail my brother forwarded that if I didn't contact them immediately, they were going to proceed to the last known home address on file and then if I wasn't there, immediately be escorted to my place of employment.

What jerks if this is just an intimidation scam to get $ from people. Some of us actually live NORMAL lives, where we work 12 hours a day, for our money, instead of harassing others.
