Got a call from Jay Garcia from 9162359149 and asking to contact the number listed 855-223-8219 for a claim?

Called several times although my answering machine is clear whose number he's calling.'
Sounded threatening, saying "you have been served."

I received the same call as Steve (above). The first time it was a man saying that I have been served and wanted to verify personal information. I responded saying if I have been served, then you already know my information and you can mail it to me. I received another call today but the number was blocked when they called so I answered and Alicia Roberts asked for me by name. I told them that she (me) wasn't available. They wanted me to verify Kim's information for them and where "she" lived. She stated that there is a claim that needs to be served. She then went on to tell me a previous address of mine from 6-7 years ago and I said no, she doesn't live there anymore and hung up. She called right back from a "blocked number" and left a message in a threatening voice stating that my address has been verified and I was served and this was her final notice to me and I needed to return the call to 855-223-8219. I don't have anything on my credit for anyone to be calling me and I haven't had any accidents or anything? This is a scam to get information from you.

I just received a call on my HUSBAND's phone from an Elisha Roberts who threatened me with serving papers and wanting me to provide my physical address and employment address.  She told me by this phone call I was formally "noticed" and served.  My husband, being a retired investigator, noticed that we had made a large furniture purchase and several days later, my sister-in-law received a telephone call asking for my phone number stating that we owed money and needed personal information.  This furniture was paid off within the last couple of days, and again, we receive a threatening telephone call.  My husband is now working with authorities in an effort to apprehend arrest and charge these [***].  (that's my word, along with some other ones!) Whoever you are take note, they monitor phone calls from prison!  

Phoning someone is not a legal serve or notice. Real Legal servers do not call you, they just show up with the papers. Debt is also a civil case and no, you can not be arrested for owing a debt either.

Just received a call on my phone  from 1-707-200-2387 who stated he was Larry Stenta early in the morning at 6:20am for my mother who is elderly and lives with us but has a different phone number.The man said he was trying to deliver papers regarding a "claim against her" and he needed to speak with her. The claim number was 1869590. I was resistant to letting him speak with my mother. He was gruff and stated that she needed to "consider herself officially notified" and then he told me to have her call 1-855-223-8219 to speak with "the firm handling the claim".
This was concerning since she was recently in an accident so we weren't sure if this was related.

I just got a call from a local number asking me to verify my address so that I could be "served" Some documents regarding a claim against me. When I asked the caller what the claim was about she says "oh you haven't been made aware?" then she told me to call 855-223-8219. When I called there I asked what type of company it is and the person refused to answer me without my name. I then gave her a false name and she put me on hold and never returned to the line.  This is definitely some type of scam.
