Yes I got one and they are saying they have to get ahold of my husband about a claim that they received in their office. I feel they are fake and didn't give them any info

They said they were calling from Consolidated and they wouldn't give me their license number. I have reported them to several people and told them to stop calling my job.

Is this even a real number 855-223-8243? They tried to say that I have been warned and that I need to resolve this matter before it goes to the next step. Someone please answer back and let me know if you are getting the same thing.

I received a message and returned the call to them

Says I owe money and that a locating service will be giving me papers.

My dad got a call on his phone looking for me saying I have a charge and claim againist me? I try calling the number back but goes to voice mail. Is the a scam? I do owe money but I dont do those payday loans online.... im so nervous right now!!

What a joke...even the locator service they use to "serve papers" is a joke.

They keep threatening to serve papers but never do

If a caller refuses to identify themselves, the company name and address and the reason they are calling, and if they also refuse to mail (not email or fax) documentation proving you owe a debt to them - per the FDCPA - they are owed nothing.  Debt is civil, not criminal, so there are NO charges.

If they call back, tell them you've reported them to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General.  Advise them that per your attorney (even if you don't have one) you're recording all calls they make to you for multiple violations of the FDCPA.  

NEVER pay anyone who does not send documentation via USPS mail proving you owe money to them.  Read about the FDCPA and learn your rights as a consumer.  A good place to start is to go to the FTC website and read more also - www.ftc.gov

I'm unemployed and told them I can't do anything right now but they Insisted
To keep telling my I'm going to go to court. I offered $100 a month they said no
This is a Scam
