You would like to think so, but when the account balance runs negative, say when a buyer initiates chargeback, someone has to be compensated for the loss.

My brother got this letter...I Google mapped the address. It's in the middle of nowhere... Nothing but wooded area all around...

Got a letter in USPS that said I had a out standing balance in collection with paypal inc. Dont have paypal credit.

What was the address on the letter

ACI day I owe $290.00? For what? Everything I do is with my bank account card.

Received as above did. Bogus collection agency. Also regarding PayPal

a woman speaking very professionally will say that you have an outstanding debt collection sent over by Paypal. She stated an email address pumphbonnivr84( yet she didn't say Gmail or all etc). Then she provided a call back number 855-224-300. The number that showed up on the caller ID was 716-418-7211. She also provided a fake NY address. DO NOT TRUST THIS !!!!

Missed number ony phone. Tried calling it back. Webpages are saying PayPal/ Debt scam. I recommend you not answer or call this number.
