This is Mediacom Digital Video.    It is a cable service here in Iowa

Just got a call from this number.  MediaCom has been on a rampage here, attempting for many months now to sell special subscriptions based on a 10 year anniversary, all supposedly at some low price for 12 months but requiring a 24 month contract for TV, phone, and internet.  They don't tell the price for the 2nd 12 months but it probably more than makes up for the reduced rate of the first 12 months.  

Beginning this week, they have announced plans to eliminate analog signals, indicating one must convert to digital signal only - at higher cost - and acquire (up to 3) free converters for old TVs that are NOT digitally equipped.  This call was about the adapters (based on the message they left but there is a good chance it is a sales pitch for other services as well)

Medicomm leaving me a voicemail about the digital conversion.   Too bad I switched to dish a few months ago.  This is the 4th or 5th time they've called me.

This call is from Mediacom - they keep calling, and calling, and calling.  I have been very dissatisfied with their customer service.  I will never sign with this company again.

I love Mediacom. The service is great but I am sick of the phone calls. I have told them over and over to stop calling me and I dont want or need a phone. If there was another viable cable provider in the area I would swap to them just because of the annoying calls.
