- m cwanting me to input the case id number they had left on my voicemail (they left no voice mail) also stated if I didn't have the case id number I could input my Kern Schools Federal Credit Union Card number they were anting to authenticate some recent transactions on my card..when I finally got to a real person they wanted my phone number, which I gave them they couldn't find anything so they asked for my name I gave it to them they still couldn't pull me up in their computer. I proceeded to tell them that I didn't see how that was possible when they'd instrucuted me in the beginning to input the case id number...so how could there be a case id number and me not in the computer. I asked where they were located they stated the Phillipines..I asked for their corporate mailing address I was told they couldn't give me that information I asked to speak to a floor supervisor one time I was put on hold and no one ever returned to the phone the scond time I was hung up on..I have no visa card through Kern Scools Federal Credit Union nor do i bank with them any longer as a matter of fact I owe them money...their recorded message that answers answers this way..Visa Fraud Protection Services On behalf of kern Scools Federal Credit UNion

- Ollie| 1 replyThis number has called me three times today and said it was Visa Fraud Protection Services on behalf of the Kern Schools Federal Credit Union, regarding the card that ends with ___(they actually list the last 4 numbers of my card). I do have a Kern Schools Debit Card, and I assumed that since they knew my card number, then it must be a legitimate phone call.
But, they proceeded to ask for more and more personal information, and I decided to hang up, because if I really had potential fraud charges, I assume they would send me an email, and I would be able to handle it that way, so that I could verify that the person is really from Visa. I've gotten no email, and no alerts on my account, so it seems like this was a scam.- Caller: Visa Fraud Protection Services on behalf of the Kern School Federal Credit Union
- DanI keep getting calls from this number. I don't answer it. I don't want to have a connection to them.

- Vicki Anslinger replies to OllieI just got two calls from same number for same thing. I hing up when they wanted the card number.
- John replies to jAgreed, I got a call and called Kern Schools to confirm and found it to be legit. I wouldn't give any information to a company calling me asking for information. If they call me, then they need to provide info that they are legit, such as telling me what they know my birthdate and mother's maiden name to be.
- Bruce855-232-0669 I haven't answered the phone for whoever is calling! It seems that the common thread is "KSFCU" I to have a checking/ debit account with them! The thing is i won't deal with a bank over the phone! I have to see their smiling faces within arms reach!
- LorrieCALL KSFCU!!!! I have received several call from this number "KSFCU fraud department" (home and cel) I didn't like that they asked for too much information to confirm it was me... I hung up. I called myself and found out I did have a $2.44 international charge... not mine and I've heard that is how they check to confirm if your account is good before really charging. I went down to the branch, canceled the card and got a new one. That was yesterday and have already received two more calls today. I called Kern Schools and gave them and the number and they confirmed that YES, that was indeed their call. SO... if you do receive this call, I would recommend that if you are not comfortable... CALL KSFCU!!!!
- Caller: KSFCU
- SandraWho is this. I don't answer.
- SharonThey ARE a company KSFCU works with for fraud prevention.
I got a message from this number claiming to be calling about possible fraud on my Kern Schools Visa Check Card. I was unsure about calling them back so I called Kern Schools directly. I told the woman on the phone I was uncertain about a call on their behalf; she asked if it was this number and I said yes. She told me that this is legit. Since I was already on the phone with Kern Schools, they called the number and found out what the problem was and everything got cleared up within minutes. Like someone previously stated, if you aren't certain or comfortable, call KSFCU directly. - rochCalled my cell . This is a poss fraud alert for KSFCU Kern Schools Central CA. In my case I started using my debit card after several years of not, this triggered the call for out of pattern. I called my branch directly, resolved.
- Caller: Kern Schools
- kaypGot a call, answered, and no response from caller although the line remained open. Checked online (here), saw it was KSFCU, so I called and confirmed this was their number. It is, but there should not be a charge on our phones to take their call. re: Call Type -- it is to verify that I had used my card to make an online purchase, so I guess they are "surveying" purchases for security reasons.

- AmberI get a call daily from this number. It states it is KSFCU, which everyone is saying is legit. However, I have NEVER banked with them, not do I have a VISA card, so not sure why they would continue to call me. I still believe it is a scam.

- Dawn BuesingReceived a message from this number claiming they were from the fraud division of my bank, Valley Strong Credit Union, and that I needed to contact them about suspicious activity on my debit card linked to my bank account. Also received a voicemail telling me to call and speak to a fraud specialist and gave a case number.
I called my bank directly and found that indeed a charge I didn’t make was posted to my account. There is no way I made that charge and my debit card has been locked in my safe and only was used to make my car payment.- Caller: Unknown
