Called the phone numbers of relatives and said I would be arrested tomorrow if they did not hear from me.  First call said they were calling from the county I live in and I owed a bank money.  Second call said I had an unpaid payday loan.  I called and they wanted me to immediately pay.  I don't owe any money but I did ask for proof of the debt, I thought it could be possible identify theft.  They said they would be at my location in 30 minutes.  I googled the phone number and the rest is self explanatory.

Calls himself case inveatigator thompson. he called me at work again. i told him i submitted a complaint with the federal trade commission on his collection practices. he said he was going to go ahead and serve me with court papers at work. i told him to go ahead. ten minutes later a female calls me and claims to have an affidavit with my name on it. i told her she was a fake. it was all a scam. to stop calling me at work. she laughed at told me she was going to call me everyday. i called the federal trade commission and reported what happened. they also told me i also needed to file a complaint with the dept. of consumer affairs. i did just that. so i am still waiting to be served.

Got a call from "processor" Ray Jordan who said he was calling from my county clerks office but number showed up as private number and when I asked him for local call back number he gave me the 855-233-1564. Then he transferred me to a check division and was told it was for payday loan in 2007. First of all my husband work for the county that they said they were calling from. We called the county clerks office and nothing on file. Big scam. All they wanted was my banking info. I laughed and told them to file whatever they needed.

this seems to be going on alot right now with everyone. somehow they called from a local number, that when you google comes up the sherrif in my town. when i answered she gave me the 855 number to call back. which i had from yesterday. i called the number back that she called from. it was a recording for the probation and parole department where i live. really?! i am going to call the local police here and let them know that they are trying to pass themselves off as process servers.

I hope the sheriff in your county does something, because as you can see they are going crazy across the states trying to scam everybody. I reported them to the federal trade commission, to the dept of consumer affairs. and to ic3.org. my next stop is the attorney general.

I recieved a call stating I had 24 hours to call Investigator Smith wanted to go over my paperwork before I had to appear in court over a fraudulent check.  What a bunch of BS! I asked for written proof of the "fraudlulent check" he threatened me and hung up.  If they were legitimate business then they would be able to provide written proof of the debt.

I got the same call from someone calling himself Investigator Smith.  Said a complaint was filed against me and wanted the opportunity to speak with me before completing the affidavit which was received in his office and would see me in court on check fraud.  This was not a foreign accent, it is by someone who sounds legit, but then I googled this number and here I am on this site!  I will now file a complaint with the FCC, the FBI and IC3.  If I have to, I will go to the attorney general and local police.  This is ridiculous and I will not be threatened.

I got a call from a local number in my county. When I google searched it, it kicked me back to the Sheriff department in my county. First the woman who called asked for my location - yeah, like I am going to tell you that information. If you know who I am, you should have all that already. So I hung up on her. She called back three more times - this time from a "private number". I didn't answer. Her VM told me that she had an affidavit that was set to go out tomorrow, but if "you contact the following number 855-233-1564 and reference case # you can voluntarily resolve this matter." Really? You don't even want to tell me who you are? Scammers!

Save the VM message.  Why?  Because I filed a complaint with the FBI, IC3 and Consumer Affairs and they wanted it.  I took my complaints to the overseas FBI office as well.  These guys are total scum!
