I received a call from this company today at my work looking to get money for a payday loan which I have never taken out.  They said they worked for a company called Highland Lending.  Wendy was so rude and said she would continue to call my work and harass me.

I just got the same phone call from The same people talking about the same thing, about how I took a loan out from them in 2011.I have never heard of this company before..

Just got a call today (7-8-15) from a person saying they where with a certain department in my state. Even called from a local number. She said I was being sued for a payday loan and if I paid a certain amount now then it wouldn't go to litigation. Started freaking out because I have not used a title loan company and she had my personal information. Such as my date of birth, social security number and address. So this scam is still going on.

Stark law is not an accredited business so therefore ladies and gentlemen their some type of company trying to pose as a law firm but they are really scam artists...even tho they have your personal information they can't do Anything with it..if they could they wouldn't need to harrass u with false information on a loan that you didn't take out..but you have to be careful when putting your information on line cuz anyone can get it and use it to threaten you out of giving them money

They called my daughter and got nasty with her. I returned called. Asked me to verify all this info.when I refused she gave me an addr that wasn't a partial addr that matched mine and proceeded to tell me if I did not pay 1150 today they would take me to court in a payday loan in 2009. When I ask what company, bank etc.....they would not give me information and gave me a bank that I have never had an account with. I told them just send whatever information to the court house we can deal with it that way. SCAM!

I spoke with Sue Ann Riley who was rude and couldn't  tell me the month, date and year I supposedly took out this payday loan.  Some how they had all of my personal information.  I have never taken out a loan with these people. My lawyer will  be contacting  them.  The number I called was 1-854-256-6385.

Said I had a loan throw them I haven't ever heard of this company they said if I don't pay 460 they would show up at my work place or home I have never took out a loan with this place they also took 465 out of my bank and wanting me to sign a document an email it back to them

Call from Highland Holding Group.  Apparently, it is a PayDay Loan company.  Contacted out of nowhere, stating I am being sued for non-payment of 2 PayDay loans. One from 2008 and 2010, out of Pennsylvania.  Attempted to explain that I did not reside in Pennsylvania and believed these to be fraudulent. Person was very rude, would not answer specific questions regarding matter and told me to bring my questions to court.

I just got that same phone call too and i have no idea what its about. I have all documents of any loans i have had and paid out. This loan they are telling me is for $500 and I know i have never done that much at all. Have you had any updates on this? Did you ever get any documents?

Go back to your bank dispute the withdrawal.

They called today saying I owed for a loan in 2008. Have me my old address, partial social, and account #. Said they never received any payments. I don't remember ever taking out a loan with them. They are threatening a lawsuit and wage garnishment of not payed in 24hrs. I think this is a scam, they won't give me any other info and said that they do not need to supply proof of the loan.

I also received a phone call in regards to a payday loan from Highland Holdings. I have never heard of this company before. Say I owe a payday loan from 2008. When I asked them to send me verification of this so called debt they wouldn't agree to it. Said they would be sending this to my local authorities and have a summons served to me to appear in court. I regretfully set up a payment arrangement with them because they sounded so legit. I decided to do some research and came upon all of the other complaints and have since disputed the charges with my bank.

I just got a call today from a lady named Amber. She said that I taken out a loan in 2009 and that she just got paperwork to garnish my wages. I never taken out a payday loan with highland holdings. I don't know how she got information of mine. She told me to call this #765-293-9618ext130. She had and old acct and old email address that she said I used to get funds. Beware scammers

Extremely rude and couldn't answer question that most collectors would be able to. I informed them I have never received a loan from a company/creditor "Highland Holdings" and I researched tis creditor and there are reports this company is scamming people.

I too keep getting phone calls about being sued for a loan I never gotten

I received a call from another number 844-593-1970 saying they are a company called AFS and that they were calling to collect a payday loan from Highlands Holding. They had the last four of my social, said that the loan was deposited into my account in June of 2013, asked if I wanted to settle out of court or take it to court. They could not tell me what bank the money was deposited into or the exact date. She said that the file was "sealed" and she didn't have access to that information. I told her that I would like to take it to court as I never took out a payday loan at that time. I wasn't even working at that time so how would I even be approved for a payday loan!?? We will see if they follow through with their court threat.

They are 100% scammers. Don't worry, no one comes to deliver papers and there is no court as there is no loan. They have been calling me since March 2015. Don't give them money and don't worry. Scams like this have been running for a long time. It is a shame. Have you considered identity theft protection?

They are 100% scammers. Phantom debts. They will come back for more money on another phoney debt. Do not pay a dime. I am sorry you lost money.

There is no wage garnishment. No court papers. No loan. They bought your info and are trying to scam you. They have been calling me for months, I told them to send papers and go to court. Still waiting for someone to show up. Phantom loans. They aren't coming for you. Ever. Have a nice day.
