Joyce from ERG keeps calling seeking information on a loved one. Totally scammers.

I got a call from Mr Sharp and when I called back I was informed that he was in a meeting, I asked several times to speak with him and was repeatedly told he was in a meeting and could not be disturbed. I then googled the phone number and found this site and read the post about this so called Mr Sharp being a scam artist. Im glad I did google it when I did I have since sent the information to an attorny friend who told me not to take anymore calls from this so called ERG Company it is a scam.

Same exact thing.  Mr. Sharp called trying to "help" resolve an allegation against me and my social.  He stated I only a had a short window of time before it was turned over.  Has anyone contacted the Better Business about this?

I've been receiving these calls for a while now.   Messages are left on how they have got the debt reduced by 25% but I need to call back immediately......they leave a file number.  I don't answer and I don't return the calls!!!!!

I got a call 6 times in an f-ing roll. I'd decline (on my cellphone) and they'd call again. Decline, call again. I don't give my cellphone number out online, at all.

Scam calls

Most likely something called Empire Recovery Group.  There was such a group
in Fort Myers Florida.  The Florida Secretary of State lists two entries under the name but both groups are listed as inactive or dissolved.

These people, or Mr. Sharp to be specific, have called my entire family, my old employer, and my ex husband telling them all I have been involved in fraudulent bank activity with First United Bank (which is my old bank before I moved) and I need to seek an attorney blah blah blah.  Not sure what they were after really.  Kinda just snooping for some of my personal info.  Well I called First United Bank, told them the story, they checked all of my old accounts which were all paid in full and or closed.  Everything looks perfectly fine according to the bank.  The guy helping me at the bank asked for the number that had called and said he would look into who it is calling me and what they are doing.  The guy at the Bank called me back almost immediately, he called the number and got Mr. Sharp himself.  He explained to Mr. Sharp that he was with First United Bank and apparently he had business with one of their customers (me). He gave Mr. Sharp my name and he tried snooping for my personal info, of course he did not get it, and he basically hung up on the guy helping me from the Bank.  He told me it was a SCAM, this guy is just trying to get your SS# or anything he can to scam the crap out of you.  Do not give this guy ANY INFO, EVER!!!  Block the number, they will eventually go away.  I wish there was something more we cud do to these scum bags.  They need to be SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD!!!!

I got several voice mail messages from the same # and I'm sick and tired of these people harassing me, especially when it is unwarranted.
