After they take control of your computer they will have you call this number for repair.
DO NOT CALL THEM!!!
They will charge you $199.99. The software they download will give them further control of you computer. They will have access to everything.

My hard-drive locked up and gave me a notice to call Microsoft support at the above number. Everything seem legit when it was answered and finally they asked if I wanted a technician to repair my hard drive for  $299.99. After five hours of him working on my computer it began to work like new. They took my debit number for payment and said the;y would email my contract from micro-soft support. I got a letter from micro-soft support with their numbers and one does not work.

They said they were getting a error from my computer and could repair for 185.00 for 1 year software support for 1 computer. Yes this guy had an India accent and scared me into thinking I had a virus.

I work for a mortgage company, we have over 35 companies.  Their site looked like the QB  site.  I called the number, they directed me swiftly and quickly to give them access to my computer, then my QUICKBOOKS dissappeared.  I am in so much trouble with my boss.  I feel sick.  What can be done about this.  He was trying to scare me because he knew he deleted my freaking quickbooks.msi file.

Call the real Quickbooks.  Also be aware that these crooks now have all the company's financial information, customer lists, and anything else that was stored in Quickbooks.  Why wouldn't you have used the help section of Quickbooks to get to the proper web site to begin with?
