As one of dozens of numbers that will come up it is the collection office to Gmac/Ally financial.  If your vehicle is leased or financed through Ally DO NOT be late or they Blast you with calls a dozen times a day till you either pay up or answer them to discuss your account.

I receive a high volume of calls from various numbers that people on this site say are from GMAC/Ally Financial regarding a past due auto loan payment.  I have never had an auto loan from this company.  They rarely leave a message and when they do it is always for some person I've never heard of, not for me.  They do not identify what company they are calling from when they leave a message.  I have had this phone number for over 15 years, so it's unlikely that they are calling for someone who used to have my number.  I block each number and they keep calling from different numbers.  Very annoying!

These people are worrying the #%** out if me. If you're that concerned about my credit then make a payment on the car  for me

Scott doesn't reveal how he correlated that address with the phone number, so your complaint is justified.
As the phone number is a toll-free number, it could terminate on any physical line anywhere, and easily be relocated to another physical line.
There are several websites with fake name and address information for phone numbers, including toll-free numbers.

This place is crazy. They blast your phone until you answer. I have blocked everyone of their numbers. I have told them to stop calling my phone while I'm at work. I would not recommend them to anyone. They are nuts.

These people have been calling for several months. I finally answered yesterday. Some girl I could barely understand asked for someone whose name I couldn't recognize. I asked her to repeat it. Still incomprehensible. I told her that there is no one here by that name, never has been, and if they don't stop pestering me, I will file a federal harassment complaint against them.  They called again a few hours later, and twice this morning already. They call on Sunday.

If this is truly GMAC/Ally Financial, then they are the most unethical bunch of jerks I've ever heard of. I do not have a loan with them. How they got my number beats me. Ethical places will send out letters. Since I have never received a letter from them, it's pretty obvious they have the wrong number. They must be the most stupid people on the face of the earth. or maybe they are just lazy and don't check their data properly.

They have several different numbers. When one doesn't work for a month or so, they call using a different number.  What will it take, other than a tactical nuclear weapon, to stop these jerks?

I told them they had a bad number, and yet they still call, three times today already. Are these people terminally stupid?

These are minimum wage drones sitting in a call center.  They don't care, they get paid no matter what.  Ally Financial is easily found on the internet where you can get an good address to send them a certified, return receipt "not me" letter.  If they call after that, you can sue them and make them pay you for the harassment.

Answered a call from this number to the office I'm a gatekeeper for and hung up right after I answered. CID only stated Toll Free Call so no clue who it actually is.

Guy with foreign accent called asking for one of our employees who is never in the office.  I told him that the guy couldn't be reached from this number.  I assumed it was a debt collector.

Caller id was Toll Free, so they automatically go to the answering machine (I'm the secretary at my company and have the boss's blessing to ignore all calls I judge to be nuisances). No message left. Judging by the other entries here, I will never be answering this caller.

Not sure who this is but when I answer nobody says anything

This number suddenly started calling me about 2 months ago.  I answer the phone every time they call but no one ever says anything on the other end.  They start calling around 8 in the morning and don't stop until around 9 at night. I have tried blocking the number but they somehow still get thru.  They are driving me nuckin futs...
