I woke up to two strange text messages this morning!  One from 855-242-4331 and another from a 44398.  Sent at the same time with the same message and same "verification code".  For Hard Rock Neverland Casino, a gambling app i dont use.  I dont gamble. Super suspicious

Update, I just realized that I HAVE gotten one legit login text from that 44398 number for a service i DO use, a company called Flex.  But that was two months ago?  Just odd that it came from the same number???  So so strange.

Sent text that said "042450 is your verification code for crowncoinscasino.com." never used or been on that site before. Minutes before getting this text got the same text from 44398.

I got a text from 283438 saying, "Budget: Get on your way faster! Follow these simple steps to skip the rental counter at most locations, with a link".  Then received a text with a verification code from a 44398 and 855-242-4331.  Same verification code in both texts.   I have not rented a car from Budget

I just got that same type of message, except it said “verification code for Rooms to Go”, a company that I’ve never shopped with.

I got a message from this number and 44398 with a verification code for CrownCoins Casino but I’ve never been on that app.

Got 2 texts in a row from 855-242-4331. Both had a verification code for Sparrow Card App, which I have never used.

I wish I knew who this was but idk who it is plz help

After reading the other posts, it seems to be a verification code service for various clients.
Verification code services issue one-time passwords (OTPs) via SMS, voice, or authenticator apps to secure accounts and verify identities.

Recieved multiple text messages giving a reset password for something called hiya between 2:50am and 3:25am, I've not signed up for anything called that.

Read the post by MikeHuntleton just above yours.  Somebody mistyped their phone number, entering yours by mistake, and then kept hitting the "resubmit code" button when they did not get the code on their phone.
