Call came through with an "Unknown" number, but the voice mail referenced this number (855-260-5063)  Got my first name wrong.  Said something about a complaint being filed against me.  No clue, but sounds fishy.

I got a call from a private number.  They gave me a number to call and a reference number.  I called the number and they told me that I have 2 cases against me from Wachovia bank from 2006. That was 10 years ago.  They told me that I have 24 hours to call back ams pay,  or I'm going to jail for a felony charge against me.

I got I call from this number this morning- came up as unknown.  I called back and they said I owed Wachovia Bank from @ least 8 years ago.  Wanted me to pay over the phone or face a judgment.  I asked for something in writing and they said that would take several days that the mail had already run for the day and that this needed to be handled ASAP.

Sure signs of a scam and violates several aspects of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. By law, they are required to send you via US Mail within 5 days of their initial contact details of the alleged debt which includes that you have 30 days to dispute part of all of the debt in writing. That alone means it does not have to be handled ASAP.  If you know you do not owe this debt, ignore the calls. Also, if the debt is that old, it may be beyond the statute of limitations to sue you to collect in your state. Very few states allow court action on debts that old.

They called and said a court appointed officer would be at the house with paperwork for her to sign for concerning cases. Ok-7276. I told them she didn't live here. They wanted her contact information. I told him I didn't have it. They claim it concerns a civil suit

They said they are William Morgan & Associate law firm. Very bad and low level of prospecting. They will hang off when you try to identify who they are.

Thanks Mike- I was thinking it was a scam- They called back a little bit ago and now this person says it is from July 2006 and they could drop the charges down to $208 or  I would be served with legal papers.  I told them to send me something in writing and she said they could email it to me.  I told them I needed something via US Mail and she said email was the only option. Said they would be serving the legal papers on Oct 27th because I was unwilling to work it out.  HaHa!

An unknown number call me said I have 2 hours to solve a legal claim to call 8552605063.   It has to be a scam.

Called asking for my daughter and ex son in law. They have been divorced for 5 years. THIS is not their number. Left message and gave 855 260 5063 but registered as a Restricted number. Also threatened about a complaint etc....

Got call today about overdrawn Wachovia account from 2006 saying I owe 1030 dollars .Had my name and last four of social ,I was ready to pay until my wife found all of these post.Thank all of you for sharing ,hopefully I won't get served as they said .

Ha ha! I got a call from an unknown # with this number as a call back number looking for my ex husband... with a case # that papers were being filed in 2 hours & I should call back ... Well I haven't seen or heard from him in like 8 years... so if you can find his correct phone # scam away the 11 years of back child support he owes me, LOL

But really, if you're trying to scam people, at least go find their correct contact info...just sayin!

I got a call from an unknown # who told me to call 855-260-5063 and gave me a case #. I called the # and was told that I owed $1030 to a credit card, and was going to be served in 24 hrs. They had my name, last four of my social, and my employer name. Said they've attempted to serve me several times and they were all failed attempts. That's funny, because my retired parents live with me and they're home all the time. The word of the day is SCAM!!

Yes this is a spam I recommend we file immediately report complain toFBI I did mine on FBI.com please you do too to stop this harassment
