Same as all the others.  Name of Elaine, merchant services, rates going up, etc.  They called from a number in Poway, CA.  I figured it was not valid.  Not gonna call back.

The person called me saying they were with my merchant services and needed to have one of their analyst stop by and go over my mc/visa statements because I was overcharged processing fees and may have money coming back to me.  When I asked how much I would be charged to get this money back, they stated that I wouldn't be charged anything. I would just have to fill out a form and they analyst would send it in for me.  Then when I told the man that he should already know what I'm charged since they process my credit cards. He told me they don't process my credit cards but work with the company that does.  I asked them which company that was since I use two different companies to process my credit cards. Obviously he didn't know that I use two different companies.  The man was very polite told me his name was Darrell Hill and the analyst name was J. Stuckel.  He told me there were other chiropractors in my area that were over charged too and gave me the name of one that supposedly scheduled a meeting for next week.  When I called the chiropractor, his assistant told me no meeting had been set up.  She just took their number and would have the doctor call them back.  The number that "Darrell" gave me with a sigh was 855-270-9974 ext. 7003.  Needless to say I'm glad I don't believe anyone who wants any of my banking information of any type.

Very funny! Wish I had time to do that. These Merchant Services con artists call my biz almost every day. So annoying!

I just received a call from Darrell Hill, too.  He told me Jay Stuckell would come out Tuesday.  As soon as I got off the phone, I looked up the number and found these comments.  Immediately called back and the extension went to voicemail.  Told them never to call again and not to send Jay.  We'll see if we get a visitor Tuesday.  If so, Jay will never make it inside our office.

A guy from "Merchant Services" called today. First of all they asked for someone that hasn't been in business for over 7 years. Then they said that they probably didn't have the right person and asked who that would be. I hung up on them because I knew it wasn't someone we deal with. Darrell called right back. He then said we took a credit card rate increase last month but he couldn't provide me with any cc info or billing info. THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT TALK TO ANYONE FROM PHONE NUMBER 855-270-9974

Yeah, Sarah called this morning, same phone as previously mentioned...very careful NOT to say the name of her company but just a vague "merchant services".  Trouble with that line is this, we use a specific provider and if you don't say their name as your employer, why would I call you back, little Sarah?  Blocking you now, bye bye,

I received a call this afternoon from this number, Marion ext 7063.  She wanted to schedule a statement review on our credit card processing account to make sure we are not being overcharged and that we're on the correct program for our business.  Glad I looked it up...won't be calling back.

A phone message from 855-270-9974 ext 7057 on December 12 that they needed to verify my credit card transaction made on October 1. This is strange becaise any credit card comoany do not review a transaaction after over 2 months. The caller also informed about increase of fee. This is also strange because my credits cards do not charge any process fee. She caller did not describe the nature of transaction nor which credit card I used. Suspected spam and found this site.

Got a call from"Tami" at this number to call her direct ext 7955 claiming we were overcharged in April and Oct of 2012 and needed to make sure we got reimbursed. Also compliance issues, etc. She was obviously eating on the line as well. SCAM!!!

I received a call from someone name Joyce of Merchant Services with a notice of rate increase to Visa/Mastercard.  I was told to call back at 855-270-9974 x7801.  We do not have a corporate Visa/MC account.  As many others, I suspected this may be a scam and found multiple web sites referencing this number.

I work @ a hotel and just got this "merchant services" call, asking for my general manager by name, i asked him name , number and extension, but when I said what is this in regars to he said "nothing" and hung up so being how I am I tyoped the number into the search bar onlie and poof here I am!

So I will NOT be passing the message to my boss.

Received a voicemail from a woman called something like Vees saying she is from Visa Mastercard Merchant Services, wanting to talk about possible interest overcharges on our October 1 statement for our business credit card.  She left phone number 855-270-9974 x 7170.  This is not in any way associated with our real and valid credit cards.  TOTAL SPAM, and calculated to mislead!!!

A woman called from 888-642-1153 in regards to Merchant Service (no Company name) and rate increases, and to please call back this # (855-270-9974 x7088). Of course, as a small business, one initially worries what this may be about, but since it didn't come from my actual merchant service company that I use, I researched online. This all falls in line with what everyone else has reported, so I'm blocking this number.

This a scam because I do not have a visa mastercard merchant service account. Sarah called from ext 7160 from 855-270-9974 T first, I thought someone stole my identity and wanted to find out if I needed to do anything.  I discovered this site and realized that I was being scammed. I received way too many inconsistent messages from Sarah. Especially the one that I just called and returning my call. Beware and aware.

Same thing happened to me, sherry called #855-270-9974ext. 7047  they have no idea what account I have . it's a fishing scam.

We received a call from Katiana at ext 2029 and she stated that she was from Merchant Services who is the representative of VISA and MasterCard and was mandated to complete the questions about whether we were aware of recent price increases and whether our provider told us about them. I asked her over and over who our provider was and she couldn't answer because she said she was with VISA and MasterCard. She tried to send me to a website to prove they were a legitamate business and I said I can put up a dozen web sites by 6 pm tonight if I want. I told her to send me something in writing not by email and she said she would fax it but that never happened. Now someone else is calling from her 'company'. This may be a legitimate business but their tactics are not above board. If they can't be forthright with why they are calling (to sell you a service), then they are no better than the scams and since there is no way of knowing if a phone solicitation is a scam, we just don't respond to them at all.

4.4.13...received a phone message from a "Shawn" who said he was with merchant services, would I call him back at 855-270-9974, ext 7137.  Checked on line and found this site. I knew the number left was not how our business is handled.  My guess is it's phishing or some sort of scam.

this is very stupid guy. keep calling my business many times. I clearly told this guy that I don't want this credit card prcessing service. He just keep calling. I did google search about this telepone. everybody said this is scam. this is not sales call. this is just a crime. so 855-270-9974 and 951-246-6044 doing crime activity every day, how come such stupid people can still breath everyday. do not know sham. God will punish this kind fo human being on this planet.
