Got a call from this number, Kim Foster Ext. 7036.

She claimed that they are the "original merchant services" company and is "conducting an audit of merchant fees to see if there are compliant fees and charges." They claim they are an independent auditor.

She said that they are not selling anything but when I called back to verify the phone number, they did try to sell me merchant services.
This is a dirty, deceptive way to do business. Lying about trying to get my business by posing as an independent auditor when in fact they are a competitor just trying to get my confidential billing information.

Stay away from these rotten people using shameful tactics.

I had the very same exact call!  Shawna has been very persistent!  I knew something was up with this and am so glad I am not the only one who has had to deal with these.  These people should be shut down!  Who is helping protect the small business owners?!

Shawna calls pretty consistently using the line that she is with "Merchant Services Powered by First Data"  The whole thing made no sense. She wanted me to have a meeting with Chad.  Chad would review my rates and make sure I am not being overcharged. She said I would probably be entitled to some sort of credit or rebate.  This was very odd as she knew nothing about our company, our real service provider, or our bank. I told her I could not have time for such a meeting so she finally agreed to letting me fax Chad our statements.  I decided this was all very odd and not trustworthy so I never pursued any of it.

Third call from them in my vm. The last message escalated with JIMMY at ext 2019 warning me that new tax laws can result in them holding back 30% of my remittances. I've told my people to just hang up on them. Boy, I wish I wasn't so ethical in my business practices. Could probably retire.

I received a voicemail from Michelle from Merchant Services stating there are possible overcharges on our Visa/MasterCard account.  The call back number 855-270-9974 extension 7506.  Deceptive way to contact people making them think there is some sort of problem with their merchant account.  A problem could be the merchant overcharged through duplicate charges or a miskeyed amount.

Lady called my office named Babitha from 855-270-9974 ext. 7027.  Sounded like a scam because my company doesn't do credit card processing.

Received a phone call from 855 270 9974 x7027 cannot make out the callers name either on my voicemail or on her voicemail. She called our business stating there were some changes to our credit card processing. This is not our credit card service. SCAM.

SCAM!!!!!!   Received a call from this same # & the girl said her name is Alani. I informed my boss & his wife. My boss' wife called her & she told her that she was calling because of the over charges on our credit card machine's statements. The girl asked for my boss' wife to send her our statements & she would take care of the the over charges. After my boss' wife hung up, she got to thinking "why would someone from our Merchant Svc Co want me to send my statements to them when they should have them on their computer system?" She contacted our Merchant Svc & they informed her that girl did not work for their co & that it was a scam. My boss' wife then informed me not to tell her any information & that it was a scam. The girl just continues to call & I continue to not give her any information or tell her anything. Please watch out for this # & anyone that is not with your credit card co. (if you have one). Also, this Alani gave me her email statements@merchantsvc.com just in case anyone needs to match anything else up to this scam.

Just got this call on my voice-mail.  We do not use Merchant Services and based on their dishonest sales techniques I would not recommend them to anyone.

Got a call from 855-270-9974, extension 2036.  Identified herself as Margo with Merchant Services advising me it's time to schedule my reimbursement appt. with the bank.  Looked it up and saw quite a few people have been contacted by this "scam" company.  Anyway, I called her back and told her I do not do business with them and to take me off their list immediately.  She even had the nerve to say "God Bless" at the end of her message.
