- joblady4 replies to Anon| 2 repliesGood morning to everyone who is reading this post. I also was scammed by Gigats I had to file a fraud application with the Sheriffs department who told me this company is out of the United States and so we really can't stop them due to out of country jurisdiction. I also had to alert my credit card companies and my bank accounts. I now have to go to my bank if I have a question on my accounts as the bank can't talk to me via phone not knowing if it really is me. Then what happens is Gigats lays low for a while with your information and all of a sudden they start trying to use your information. I actually read a post from someone who had a loan taken out in his name and information from applying on Gigats. I now have resorted to not applying online but trying to mail all of my resumes. If I do have to apply online, I use a fake birthdate and use all 1's, 2's, 3's, etc for my social security number. When I tried to tell a group of people at the unemployment office about what happened to me, I was told I couldn't share that information. Go figure. Always use a website that only starts with https. Good luck!
- shatique waitersWow, I just got off the phone with them. They are gonna send me jobs of the day. I am so glad I went with my gut and researched and said no to the university they sent me to. So many scams will be checking reviews way more often. These people are pros with too much time on their hands.
- pearl replies to Anonwow.......this is scary. I applied to a job at a local court house (paralegal job) and I did it through gigats. Thank SO much for the warning........I told them that I didn't want to further my education, etc. I was told not to worry, and again I was advised of educational opportunities.
- privateI just want to say that all if you was talking to someone in gigats it was not a person but a recording and they are only interested in furthering everyone education because they get money from schools.
if you want to listen to the recording that you listened when talking to gigats here is the link:

- LoisI received the phone call from 877-784-0282. After reading all your comments I called the phone # just mow and it was a Verizon Conference phone # and was not presently in use.. Wow!!!!!!! I I too lost my job a year ago and have not even gotten a response from any of the companies I have applied to through any of the job help sights. When I got this phone call, it gave me some hope that I might really find a job soon. I really got stooped! The problem is I am a single 58 year old female trying to support myself and I have now wiped out all of my savings. I am seriously considering suicide. I am at rock bottom and now I feel even worse. these people at gitgats need to be shoved in the streets and see how It feels to be waiting for phone calls from possible employers and get them instead. I am to the point where I hesitate to answer my phone anymore. I even got a couple obscene phone calls the other day claiming to be from a university.

- M. replies to Jonathan AlexanderThat's almost exactly the text I got, just with a different job position.
Eff these MFs, seriously. I'm kind of miffed I wasted my time with them. - M. replies to joblady4Wow, that's scary! Out of curiosity, which types of info did you give them? They have my name, email, address, and cell number, but not an SS#, thank God. Should I alert my bank? I'm kind of worried now.
In the current job market, with such a large percentage of Americans seeking employment, I'm quickly learning that there are a lot of scammers out there trying to take advantage of unsuspecting job seekers. Usually they're almost comically easy to spot, e.g. on Craigslist, but not always. - Rae replies to AnonI just got this call. The phone call sounded fishy from the get go but I went with it until he started talking about the school. I specifically told him I was already going to school but he kept talking about transferring me to an advisor. I immediately hung up this is ridiculous. I can't believe there is a scam like this tricking people who are sincerely looking for a position.
- Karie replies to Jonathan Alexander| 1 reply(gigats):Hi Karie, call me about the Accounting Clerk Job you have applied for (855) 283-6144 . (txt STOP to cancel)

- RoxannAs I was trying to apply for a local job opening with Hope Network, I was directed to call the Gigats number. I spoke with a young lady named Ashley who told me they are a screening company hired by Hope Network to make sure only the appropriate applicants are applying for this position. Before I went any further I immediately asked if they were going to try to charge me for anything and was assured they are paid by Hope Network and that they will not charge me. Ashley then asked me if I would sign up for the job of the day program and went on to explain it. When I asked her if I could just apply for the job with Hope Network without signing up for the job of the day program I was actually hung up on.
I instantly looked for a local number to Hope Network and was directed to their Human Resources department. I spoke with Carol from Hope Network who assured me they have NO affiliation with Gigats. Carol was also interested to know that the website that linked me to Gigats was using Hope Network’s name and logo, but they were actually Gigats. Hope Network is looking into Gigats and hopefully will be able to help shut them down.
I was fortunate enough to cut my time short with Gigats, but it still took over an hour to track down the real Hope Network and report Gigats to them as a scam. Good luck to anyone else that has to deal with this company and please DO NOT waste your time talking to them. Oh, and it turns out that Hope Network isn’t even hiring at this time. - Bewildered replies to AnonThanks. Just got a text for our scheduled call or text STOP. STOP was my reply.
