    I called an Amazon support number to update my Kindle. I was given Tech Square Technical. Of course they found malware on my pc while hooking up my Kindle to download the latest updates. They offer to clean and protect all my devices for X amount of dollars and 24/7 technical support. Three years support and life time protection. Are they for real or just conning people????

    Are you absolutely sure you called the REAL Amazon support number, or did you merely find those numbers on some random website?

    There are too many websites that are run by scammers, who access suckers' computers, and grab all the financial info they can.  If you give us the full name of the supposed tech support company, plus their website, we might be able to help.
