Phoned at 8 AM.  No message left.

This number calls me multiple times a day. If I answer there is no one there. If I don't answer they do not leave a message

Based on publicly-available information, this is Best Egg, a loan provider. If you have gotten a loan with them, they may or will call you. If you have put your phone number in with their offer, they may call you. However they also continue to call if somebody else puts your phone number in without your knowledge or permission, for example a typo.

Yes its best egg. Often the last part of the loan process is to confirm who you are. Great company btw. When they make an offer they don't change it up but they do sell the loan. I got a 8% personal loan. used car loans were 16%

The number on caller id was local, but the call back number was this 855 number.  The message indicated that the call was "important" and the caller was looking for someone I've never heard of.  Clearly, the original number shown on caller id was spoofed.  I get up to a dozen calls per day from scammers.  I set my phone to not ring except for those on my contact list.  Still, I am sick of the hassle involved with unwanted calls.  THIS one, for sure, is a scammer.

Called asking for my husband saying they had questions another his loan application and this was the number on the loan application.  I knew if he filled out a loan app he would have used his cell phone number
