Claims to be Halsted Financial Services requesting me by name. Will only speak with the named person about "financial matter."

Did they request "Canon_calc" or "Dasiy_duck"?  Strange you would post under 2 different weird usernames and not provide any info about the call.  You said they asked for you and would only speak to you, so what was it about, a real debt, a scam threat or didn't you want to know?

Rec'd text from Halsted, notes "debt collector", mentions Upgrade Inc and Cross River Bank, provides web addresses.  When you get a message such as this it is important to NEVER try to contact them back, as if you do, then your phone number is tagged as a "good" number, and referred to a database, and you will then be receiving many more messages such as this.  My old debts have longggg ago been resolved, I have no credit cards/credit accounts, and my incomes are all exempt from attachment.  My address is easily accessed, for anyone who desires to contact me in person re any matter such as this.
