I am involved in a checkfraud case..I am not sure if this is real..Ext. 185599. Can anyone state if this company is real..ARA..

I got a call from them asking for someone other than me, but with my same last name. They also called my husband asking for this other person, so they obviously have our combined household information and not just "a wrong number". The person left a voicemail on my phone but my husband spoke to them and after he let them know that it was not his name that they asked for, they told him he would be subpoenaed. I have a friend who is an attorney, he told me to give them his info for any further contact. So I called them back to pass his info along...and before I was even finished with my sentence they told me it was all a misunderstanding due to an error on their part and they were removing both mine and my husband's cell phone numbers from their system and sorry for any inconvenience.

Scam, beware and this one pushes edge for legality. Even gives a docket number to sound legit. Calls an a variety of numbers and goes to social media for contacts of their targeted person.

I have no idea who this is but they are telling about someone's private information which is illegal.

My Uncle got a call from them yesterday as did my Mom. Same story as everyone else!! Trying to get information out of them but they run around my question. Glad to know it's a scam.
