Two calls in 2 hrs so far today to my personal cell phone, left "hang up" messages both times.

call - three ending words from a voicemail and then a hangup - who are these weird ass _ _ _ _ _

I received a cell phone call from this number on 6/8/11 at 3:47 pm.  No voice mail or any kind of identifying info left. Third time in 4 days. BE AWARE. Something is up with this new area code.

This number called me looking for "Mr. Gustavo, Sr".... I've had this number for 12 years.  Some Company called "global"... Don't know who they are and they hang up on me when I try to ask questions.  I asked "what is this company?" and they HUNG UP ON ME!  I called back and they asked for Mr Gustavo Sr AGAIN, and I said "you need to remove my number from your database, you have a wrong number" and the [***] HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN.  Same woman answered the phone both times!!

Got a call and it was a recorded message. A man's voice identified himself (he mumbled and I can't really remember who he identified himself as), saying that a problem of mine could be fixed by "Global" something or that it needed to be fixed critically. It went on to say to contact him in person by pressing "1." I didn't press any keys and it hung up approximately 30 seconds into the call.

If i knew who you were i might answer.  geeeze   a little over kill don't ya think? and the nights not even over yet.  i do not answer "out of area" calls. sorry!!!!

1-855-284-9906, 1-615-255-9255, 1-205-994-6784, 1-800-996-5404 all of these numbers have call my house today more than once. Is there any way to stop these calls?

just to let you know. as a part of the FDCPA they are only allowed to call you ONCE and it has to be in between the hours of 8am-8pm.

i suggest you put your number under the national do not call list. then print it out. then if they call you again, take down the number what time they called and whoever you spoke with. you can sue the [***] out of them

I get the same as everyone else, several calls a day, and when i finally do pick up, the [***] just hangs up when I ask a question.

On Monday July 18, 2011 at 4 PM, Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of 8th Avenue. Upon arrival the complainant stated she had received numerous phone calls from a company named American Law Division claiming to be from California.  The company requested the complainant give her drivers license number and social security number to them. The phone numbers used in the scam were a toll free number of 855-284-9906 and 213-545-6548.  The complainant contacted Law Enforcement before any sensitive information was given over the phone.

Officers did make contact with an unknown male at American Law Division. The male hung up on Officers shortly into the conversation. Officers believe the company is not from California, but possibly overseas. Officers remind individuals to never give sensitive data such as Drivers License Numbers, Social Security Numbers out over the phone.  As always contact the Police Department if you have any questions.

This Person Asks for Someone who does not live here and leaves messages about arranging a 'deal' if the person who does not live here calls back in 24 hours.
they even say the persons name that does not live here.
and identifies themselves as global credit collections.

Interesting. Spoof a local number here in NJ (the minuscule town the number was from doesn't have ANY business in it) portraying themselves as 'global executive' looking for someone not even remotely related to my number, address, or family. I've had this number 20 years.

They are spoofing numbers. The '205' number is a verizon cell phone number. They called me last night from a spoof number of a ''town'' that has NO business in it it's so small and rural.

hese people are a bs building contractors referral type service..... they sell windows to people then they let the bottom feeders on their list of "highly skilled" contractors bid on the job, whichever hacker bids lowest gets the job

they sub-contract out to anyone, they dont check anything, all the guy needs is a contractors license which in most states is as simple as paying $50 - $200 and getting a liabilty insurance policy for a few hundred bucks (and that insurance doesn't cover the guys bad work, it only covers him if he injures the homeowner or burns the house down, it DOES NOT cover shoddy work)...  almost no states actually require a building contractor to know anything, no tests, no proof of competency, just pay the fee and bingo, you're in business

the company that sells the windows makes a sale of windows plus gets the overage on the install price.

the hacker contractor gets a few dollars

and you get poor quality windows, likely installed incorrectly, and a "lifetime warranty" from a company that dissolves and re-incorporates under a different name every 9 months

These scammers call me on my cell phone, from all over the country, while I am at work about someone elses debt.
