They called and left a message saying this was a call because they needed to discuss my account with me urgently.  They never said where they were calling from, or on behalf of which company.  Not even an account number to call back in reference too.

Basic Talk phone service

Called and left a message, but the caller spoke so fast it was impossible to even identify why they were and what they wanted. I see by another post it is Basic Talk, and I let my subscription run out due to increasing rates. Let them call -  the VOIP box was long disconnected and their number is now blocked. Go away, your service is lousy.

Indeed it is Basic Talk, the WalMart VOIP service. Due to rate increases and previous iffy experiences with their customer service (tried to cancel them once - good luck with that) - when my credit card on file expired, I was relieved to end the service. Box is unplugged, and so is their number. Good riddance!

I got a call from 855-292-2601.I did not answer the call

anytime you get a call from an auto-dialer machine and the recording starts with "dear citizen"
just know its a BIG SCAM...most people have enough common sense to know this...but just in case

I got a call from 855-656-2601, but I didn't answer the call.  It was a woman caller who kept saying “hello Patricia” twice, and then hung up.. This is the second time this week receiving a call from 855 area code.
