Got a call from a company called CFS, they said they're a "mediation" company and were working with Lazer Lending. Lazer lending is claiming i got a loan in 2013 that i never paid. The amount i owe them is $590. They claimed i got a loak in 2013, and used my account with Chase bank as the pay back account, but I had closed that account years prior and also had an old phone number that i had not used in over 10 years. I called and spoke to an Elizabeth Jones, then an Ann Walsh, and another guy with a last name Smith. definitely not a legit company. They threatened, saying that the company they're representing, Lazer Lending, is threatening to take the issue to court. I Googled Lazer Lending and tried to contact them but of course their contact info is not listed on their generic-looking website. I called Laser lending and they don't do pay day loans. I went to Chase bank to get my closed account information and they had no other later accounts with my name. It's very oblivious this is a scam. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!
