855-299-8094 just left message regarding a asthma research study--acurian/asurian

Received a phone message from "Frances Cavarez" (was very difficult to understand, but finally understood it after reviewing it) for a "Jeremy" of whom we have no one by that name in our office.  Left this number (855-299-8094) stating she was calling from "Securian," which appears online to be a life insurance company.  I called back to let them know they had the wrong number and it consistently rings busy.  BOGUS???

Interestingly enough...I just happened to review my emails which tracks the company phone numbers and this one did NOT match up to the 855-299-8094 number that Frances Cavaras had left for a "Jeremy" from the supposed "Securian."  Just wanted to report that the actual number it came from was 859-966-9920 of Independence, KY.  This number when you call it is a number that "is not in service."  Thank you.

Follow up regarding completion of online survey

Call was from Accurian to follow-up on an online survey I completed for a research study.

Actually it's Acurian. They do drug research trials.

Arthritis research entity. Their valid. However they don't have the smoothest "first contact" format going!!
The're nationwide and initially appear a scam but are not. They pay for clinical trial research.

I qualified for a health research study which prompted a call from Acurian Health.  They stated they were calling from a recorded line and began asking me to verify everything I had JUST entered on the study. I told her that all of my information was correct because I had just entered it and she said she still had to verify it. Pass. I legitimately applied for a study and the name matches the one on my email, but why they would need to verify on a recorded line the information I had just typed in is beyond me so I will call it "other unwanted".
