Fact:
NEVER obey the instructions to "fix your computer" from some anonymous caller, unless you want your computer to be zombied, your contact list copied, and your ID info stolen!

You should take it to a real tech you can see face to face, your going to have to reset al your info, but recommend you have your computer gone through to check for spyware and maleware.

The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face!

i got a call from nick from microsoft who wanted to gain access to my computer.  i knew the call was bogus but went along and asked his number, cak
lled him back and hung up  he called me again and i told him i was forwarding this info to the fbi

I Think this guys providing good services i have paid $99.99 they have helped me few times whenever i call on this number 855-300-0817 they pickup my call if they are scammer why they provides numbers to the customers why they pick up the call.

My stepson got a call when no one was home from someone who said they were from Microsoft and they needed to look at his computer.  Unfortunately he let them and they proceeded to lock him out of his computer.  My wife called me and told me this while I was at work.  I called the number they gave him (855-300-0817) and after three tries someone finally answered.  It was some guy with a thick Indian accent who could barely speak English and who hung up on me after not being able to answer any simple questions I posed to him.
After I got home I was able to get past the lock out by booting up in safe mode and restoring the computer using a previous restore point, but not knowing what they did to it while they were in there I went ahead and reformatted the drive and re-installed Windows.
About two hours later this guy called the house back thinking I was my stepson, I ripped him a new one for taking advantage of a child then asked him to give me his address so I could send him a bill for my time.  He hung up.
