They state they are purchasing power, I stated that they had called the wrong number, but they would not tell me what they were selling or what the company was about, they ask  you for your name and social security number, which was strange, when I stated to the lady that I would not give her my name or social, she asked for my phone number to remove me from their call list....Something is not Right

Purchasing power is offered through a lot of companies. Its like rent to own. My wife had purchased a lot of items through them. You click it, they ship it, and your employer deducts the payment from your check. Only, if you quit, get fired, etc. And owe them $. They try to collect...

Purchasing Power is a catalogue store for employees of some organizations, from which they may purchase TVs, computers, etc. Employee paychecks are then drafted until items are paid off. Maybe they were doing sales calls (but I don't think they do this). I do know they call when bills are due (in cases where employees have left their jobs and still owe payments).

The number 855-303-2381 called but did not leave a message. I DO NOT answer phone calls from numbers I DO NOT know.

If you are making the call, LEAVE A MESSAGE! Otherwise why bother calling.  Do you answer the phone to numbers you don't recognize or name doesn't appear on the caller ID.  Think about it people...

Got a call from Mario Green claiming he was from Purchasing Power and calling about account recovery. Left a message to call 855-303-2381 ext 1510.

I received a email with this phone number on it. The email claimed I owed  Purchasing Power, more money than I have ever spent with them.

This number is definitely from Purchasing Power and they called me about a purchase I owed on. They're legit.

Do you always lookup and post about numbers you know are "valid"?  Other posts here suggest this might be a debt scammer. I would be careful about calls from this number. If someone has an unpaid debt that they know about, it would be better to call Purchasing Power yourself to find out if the calls are legit.

Got call from this number on my new cell, number has been mine for a few months but I've never given it out except for legit SMS TFA 6 digit codes like paypal.com. I'll assume if it was a debt collector they were trying to reach the previous owner. But not ruling out random robocaller.
