Like an earlier entry says - after getting this call I looked up the legalities of collections. I DO have debt, but nothing is in collections because I'm actively paying it back. Legally they should send you something in the mail informing you of who they're collecting the debt for, etc. It's been over two weeks I've received their calls and have received nothing in the mail or any other information but "this call is from a debt collector, please call us back at 855-303-9286". I've not been answering - just letting it go to vm. Each vm is from the SAME ladys voice and exact same vm each time (real agencies will have multiple people contacting you). This is happening to me july & august 2019, so clearly they've yet to be stopped. Hope this helps!!

This number calls repeatedly trying to collect debts which is obviously a scam because when you tell them to send you a letter stating your name saying g you owe them money they ask for your email address so that tells me they do not know how the system works

I have been receiving calls from this number and when I called them back they hung up on me yet they keep calling!

This pita is now showing up as Account Services.

I don’t have any Debt ... ... I’ve read your notes, and thank you all for contributing !! Very helpful....The service I have, received the voicemail and  “right off the bat “  they’re stating that they are a debt collector !
The caller says to call 855-303-9286 !

So, a report was made regarding that number as well.

they left message - have no debts - scam

Same message from Receivables Management Partners. Did not call back. No outstanding debt that needs collected. Called from 866-216-3074 but want me to call back 855-303-9286. Pass.

844-771-5503 called but they told me to call 855-303-9286. only get the phone number. the recorded message starts out being recorded on my end at the end of the message.  NOPE.

Called saying they were "Receivables Management LLC" and that they were a "debt collector" and to call back.  This company is not one of our vendors.  Must be a scam.

Happened to me too. Tried to tell me I had 5 accounts with one provider and they had some of my payment dates and amount info. But didn’t have the balance correct with the one account I do actually have with the provider. I called the billing office and they told me none of that was right and it wasn’t in collections.

I do not even get a company name, just a "please call us back" with the number. I tried answering this call at least 3 times, and there was never a real person on the line.

Left a message about being a debt collector didn't even note my name, said they were from receivable management partners LLC. I have nothing past due or in collections, looks like a scam. Blocking it.

They leave voicemails several times a day. They do not say who they are trying to reach and only say it is a call from a debt collector. Not identifying the person you need to speak to is fishy to me. There are no real specifics given in the voicemail. I never pick these calls up but if I do then I tell them that until they send me proof of the debt in writing that they can stop calling me. I will not be roped into paying for anything over the phone. There must be documented, written and reputable proof.

I get the exact same thing several times a day. No name of who they need to reach and only their nonspecific business name.

I called this number back, and they said they were collecting for a hospital bill for my daughter from Feb 2015 that, incidentally, has never shown up on my credit as a debt...nor do I owe the hospital.

This number called again today and I returned their call. They said they had an ER bill for my daughter from 2015 that I've NEVER heard of before until now.  When I asked them to send a debt verification letter, she said "We can send you an itemized bill".  Um, that's not what I asked for but go on...she said that SJ ER had a bill for my daughter and she (not me) owed it, then corrected herself.  I told her that SJ stopped existing in 2013, so I will await their debt validation letter and terminated the call.

And they are not required to send a debt validation letter since you did not request it in writing like the law states.  I can tell that you did not bother to read the other posts since that was clearly stated on the first page.

Thank you for the info. What can I do if someone harasses me over a debt that was 15 years ago. They keep selling the debt and the time starts over they say. And each time it's put on my credit report. The fees are more than the debt, by far.
