came on my notebook saying I had a problem said it was verizon and to call to fix.  I did not call but now cannot get "warning" off of computer. don't call this number!!!

It might have installed a virus on the notebook. That's the scam. They install the virus then charge you to remove it. Maybe this will help. But definitely don't call them.

If your notebook is windows, use task manager to kill your browser. Then when you restart it, do not click restore last session. Go to options and Clear Cache and Browsing History. That usually removes these browser hijack warnings.

Message and fake microsoft message popped on one of our computers. Obviously a scam. Called them and as always, just the Indian 'Vindows Tekneekal Support' scammers.
