- Kelli| 12 repliesI get calls from this number, three to four times a day.
- MikeHuntleton replies to Kelli| 10 repliesYet you still don't know who called and thought people should know you don't?
Missed calls could be from anyone.
Scammers, telemarketers, debt collectors, pranksters, surveys, notifications, alerts, wrong number, etc. Some use neighbor spoofing so it appears that an incoming call is coming from a local number, or spoof a number from a company or a government agency that you may already know and trust. If you answer, you can find out who it is or what they want. Just be aware some may use scam scripts to try to steal your money or valuable personal information, which can be used in fraudulent activity.
https://www.fcc.gov/spoofing - jessica prentercalls almost everyday it rings twice then hangs up.
- Brian| 1 replyAnswered and a person asked for my DOB to verify my account. She said that she wants to make sure that my coverage is still meeting my needs. I do have AAA life insurance, but told her that I would call back.
- Caller: Aaa Life Ins
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Tess replies to BrianSame here. I have AAA life insurance and they only started calling when i downloaded an app for AAA life insurance. No other time did they call.
- Keisha KAAA scam!! The lady's name was Tammi!! Please beware this is a scam! Don't confirm or provide any information to them! Please call AAA not the number or extension they give you! Please be careful!
- Caller: AAA Life Insurance
- Emme'Noticed call list itself as AAA life insurance. Have no intention of responding since this is a fraudulent number for the above mentioned company. Appears to Scam.

- SuM replies to MikeHuntleton| 9 repliesSmart people don't answer an unrecognized number. If it's legitimate, the caller will leave a voicemail. If it's a scammer, etc., he won't.
- Tygerkat replies to SuM| 3 repliesThere are plenty of people who `` to answer unrecognized numbers. Some of us do it for our job. Besides, even if the number is recognized, scammers could be spoofing it so you still wouldn't know if it's legitimate or not unless you answered it. Oh, and scammers frequently leave messages so that's another "point" you're got wrong.
- BigA replies to SuM| 1 replyI have been answering unrecognized numbers for several weeks trying to get enough information on who is calling so that I can not only report here but so I can make accurate reports to the Feds and the State as well as sue them. Your advice if one could even classify it as that does not help and in fact most likely will hurt people because they will keep calling when the calls go unanswered.
- MikeHuntleton replies to SuM| 2 repliesSmart people don't come post that they don't know who called and won't answer to find out.
- SuM replies to Tygerkat| 2 repliesI guess you don't mind wasting your time. Not once has a scammer ever left me a voicemail. Maybe the word is out to scammers that you are an easy target. You and the other guy need to learn to respect others' opinions and cease the insults and criticism. By the way, I was in law for many years. I think I know a little more than you do.
- SuM replies to MikeHuntleton| 1 replyYou need a lesson in civility and forming intelligent sentences.
- MikeHuntleton replies to SuMPosting speculations is all you did and nothing factual. Criticism is because you are misleading by pretending you are intelligent, yet demonstrate you are not. Respect of someone else's opinion doesn't mean you can't point out the flaw in it.
- MikeHuntleton replies to SuMSorry I can't help with your comprehension deficiency, but I bet everyone else understood me just fine.
- Tygerkat replies to SuMWhat part of "I have to do it for my job" didn't you understand? And just because you were "in law" doesn't mean you know more than I do. It just means you might know more about the law than I do.
- SuM replies to BigATell that to all of the elderly who answered the phone and scammers falsely represented that family members were injured or arrested and lost thousands of dollars because of it. Good luck suing scammers, if you even know the first thing about bringing a lawsuit.

- Phillip SmithThey've been calling me daily for the past 2 weeks. It says Aaa Life Ins on the caller ID. I've never answered and they left their first message this morning asking me to return the call to 855 309-2309 and that "if for any reason I'd like for them to stop following up with me" that I could call this number 877 437-4781. This is ridiculous!
