    I got the call twice in an hour. Luckily, my phone blocks calls that aren't from my contact list.

    If it's Time Warner, then how come a reverse phone number search says it's invalid? You'd think they'd WANT us to have their number to call them back on their great deals. I don't think it's TW.

    I was getting calls from this number several times a day, at all hours, for weeks on end. After ignoring the calls assuming they would stop (and they didn't) I got fed up and called the number back. It is Time Warner Cable which I am a subscriber to.  They were able to verify my account information and they wanted to know what I pay for Home Phone and Internet. I told them that I was calling in regards to the numerous phone calls that I received and wanted the calls to stop. The agent said he was putting me on the "do not call" list and that it can take up to 30 days and that Time Warner takes the "Do not call" list policy very seriously. Now if they could only make a policy on harassing customers with endless phone calls and take that seriously.
    So now I will have to wait and see if the call's DO STOP now that I am on the list. I will report back.

    I, too, have been getting calls from this same number, every single day for weeks and weeks now. After reading Lisa's post here, I did return the call to TWC, and was told that my number would be removed... yadda yadda yadda... 30 days. I nearly lost it at that point and told the person that I am not going to put up with it for another month, I want my number removed NOW. She said she would transfer me to a supervisor, and then hung up.

    Now I became even more determined, so I called up the customer service number, and after dealing with the automated operator I finally got ahold of someone who actually DID transfer me to a supervisor. I told him in no uncertain terms that I wanted my number removed immediately, or I would cancel my service on the spot. I explained that I am doing THEM a favor by paying for the service, not the other way around, and that I don't NEED cable at all, and that I think their telemarketing policies are sleazy at best. I also told him to go ahead and do a Google search for that number, and have a look at how many people are disturbed enough by this to post about it online.

    He told me my number would be off the list by tomorrow.

    Good to know Jim, thanks. I have been getting 2-3 calls a day from them and when I call back I get a recording. They get enough of my money and I am not adding any other options to my current service. I will speak to a supervisor the next time I call.

    This number calls me at least once a day and has been for several days, getting to be very annoying!  Glad to know that it is Time Warner Cable.  I too will be filing a complaint with them.
