these people have nothing better to do

They called with a pretty disturbing message in regards to the whereabouts of a family member about a formal complaint. Formal Complaint??? What does that mean? They threatened to take legal actions with the local county courts. Not buying it! We are all vulnerable these days as far as our privacy is concerned. I cannot believe that they cannot stop these people from doing what they do!

The same company with this number called me saying the same thing; a civil lawsuit filed against me. Bogus!!!! I don't get it how this company can get away with harassing people bogusly!!!

Got a call from this number today and it said the same disturbing message with a weird voice changer...this is fraudulent!!!

This number is calling saying that I owe money for a payday loan. They called my parents and my work. How do you stop them?

Warn others not to answer the number in any manner and that it's a scam. Get them tired of calling numbers that have no answer at all.

Call blocker might be of some help.  Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd.  Or where there is no caller ID.  Consider blocking the 855 area code; it's heavily used by debt and other scammers, from my experience.

ID themselves as "CFS".  Long history of debt scamming on 800notes.  Ignore and block the calls. No idea where they are located.

The call is total hogwash.  You can check this out yourself by simply going down to your local main civil court and see if your name appears on the defendants civil list.  If a civil case had been filed, you'd have a paper trail. You'd have received a letter from the attorney for the other party.  You would NOT have first heard about a civil case from some scammery scummery debt collector who cold calls you and starts yapping about money and threatening you.  Ignore and block the calls.

Formal complaint against someone and they are going to file with the county.  Beware they also use the number 855-313-3676 with the same person's voice as this number.  They have been calling at least 4 times since last week with the same message.

8553143048 threatened my daughter and she has nothing to do with my bills. Then they threatened to sue me and take me to court if I didn't pay.

I get these calls at WORK they are looking for me. someone filed a "civil Complaint" against me.. yeah.. no.. I want them to stop harassing me. esp at work!

called the number again. funny.. same person leaving the recorded message is the same one being the "operator" they are now calling both my work and my cell. again. I have reported them.
