Just got the same call, figured it was suspicious because of the garbled section.

Precisely the same message just left on our machine.  I think the name is deliberately garbled and, whaddyknow?, the reference number is the same.  I didn't answer, either.

I just got this same call. Same exact message, return phone number and reference number. Was garbled in all the same places too. Number was blocked.

Sick and tired of getting all these 855 area code calls when my number was put on a no call list.

I just received the exact same message...same garbled spots and same reference number.  Also lots of static on call.  Called the number back from work because it goes out on a trunk line and is unrecognizable.  It is for an electric company.  So this sure sounds like a telemarketer wanting us to switch companies.  I didn't pursue the call; just said I misdialed and hung up.

Just got the same call with the same phone number and name and the same reference number.  Do you really think that everyone would get the same reference number???

Aside from your name being intentionally garbled on the recording, the most obvious clue that it's a scam is that they don't mention any company name.

I'm tired of these calls as well, but they come from scammers, and they don't follow laws and abide by rules such as the DNCL. Legitimate businesses will follow the list, but criminals don't. Also, many of these calls actually originate from overseas and they spoof the phone #'s to make it look like they come from the US.

I received a voicemail from this number, similar to the other posts here. The name was garbled but everything else was clear. Callback # given: 215-486-6072

I called this number, and was told to select an option for the following electric providers:  PICO, PPL, Duquesne, West Penn, Penelec, Med Ed, Penn Power, or Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania. There was also an option if you were NOT in the Pennsylvania power supply system.

I got the same exact message. Totally a scam. I wish these morons would knock it off and get a real job.

Got the same message to call 215.486.6072 about your Electric bill ref# 077120 have bill handy. I called thinking it was Peco calling since it was hard to Garble understand msg. Man asked me if I had Peco or PPL. I said you tell me since you called me and he said we can not see that information. We are calling people who are not getting any Government Assistant to offer discount electric through Peco!.
